Think we may be labelled as miserable gits but I somewhat sympathise with your position on this. If the 40 plus 5 bid was true literally over a week ago and it was rejected, all it would take would be to meet their 50 and so bring in Koemans main target for the summer. It would appear that the old Everton in the shape of our Bill and his sidekick have resurfaced.

Regarding how much money we have or don't have for transfers, surely the cost of the new stadium counts to add FFP? If that's the case then we've already committed to a huge amount of expenditure and do need to balance the books to an extent on transfers?

I personally think we've had a very good window both for the first team and U23s etc, although I agree we could ideally do with a CB and target man. But that said the new stadium should absolutely be a priority for the long term growth and stability of the Club.
