I just read an article linking us to Kelechi Iheanacho. I would love for it to happen, but I'm not sure if he is ready to be the main striker for a team pushing for champions league football. Have you heard anything/ have any thoughts Ed?

Whenever I've seen him he's made me sit up and take notice, always a good sign. Be very happy with this deal if it came to fruition.

I think he would be a great signing if Lukaku stays, but we would need another striker should Lukaku leave. Either way I'm a big fan of his and I would be interested to see how he progresses given more game time. If he builds upon his current potential then the £20m quoted could be a bargain!

And another one who would be off to the African Nations Cup every two years. Great player but unless we have a much improved depth of strength in the squad, when the likes of him, Bolasie, Gana depart for the ANC you're ripping the guts out of th squad.

I think it could only be a good move for all concerned parties. He doesn't seem to be in Pep's plans with chances few and far between for him after the arrival of Jesus. Even before that, Guardiola didn't seem to trust him enough to give him game time alongside Aguero, perhaps because he demands so much more from his forwards 'outside the box' and it is clear that Iheanacho is a penatly box striker. Everton would be getting a promising player who has proven he can score goals in the league when called upon. All I can say is make it happen!
