Ed2. I know I repeated my self below on the lukaku thread. Sorry.
You said italian clubs can afford him. Thought they were all struggling.
Are Barcelona going to split up msn for him or real going to get rid of benzema and morata for him?
Bayern got lewandowski and psg got Cavan.
Just seems he may have more options in a year or 2 when other teams have ageing players who need replacing and he will be in his prime.

{Ed002's Note - Inter can certainly afford him. Their owners have made clear that they will spend what they see is necessary - although they will be selling as well. Milan are awaiting for their takeover to be completed and can afford him. Atletico Madrid can afford him but are awaiting the outcome of an appeal. Barcelona has no interest in him - they are keen on another striker. PSG have not replaced Ibrahimovich and are interested. Bayern are interested in case they lose Lewandowski. Arsenal could afford him. Manchester City, Spurs, Schalke and Dortmund can certainly afford him.

He would certainly have lots of options in two years as he will be out of contract - you are right with that.}

He obviously wants to move to a club that he feels can actually win the champions league so he will be looking at the very top end.
No offence to these clubs but rule out spurs, schalke, arsenal, Milan atm.
Man city got ineacheo (whatever) , Jesus and aguero.
Atletico may want him if griezmann goes.
I just hope when (rather than if) he goes, we get top dollar for him to be able to replace him with quality and not waste it like the reds did when Suarez left.

{Ed002's Note - Nobody is saying all of these claubs are interested - what you have been saying is they cannot afford him. He wants to play at the highest level and that will not be possible at Everton. He will not set his sights too high - but he wants to move on for his career. Everton has been looking at strikers as they need to make provision. You seem to be struggling rather with this whole matter.}

Ed. We're fans and therefore not very rational. I see the logic in what you post but I also get caught up in the whole fan perspective which sometimes isn't reasonable.

When I watch Everton I enjoy the first 70 minutes then totally hate the last 20 jus in case we don't get the win. Is just me as a fan and I get it's something I struggle with. But I just wouldn't have it any other way.

If you think our logic is bad now you wait until the summer transfer window. I swear you'll probably want to go into hiding.

Thanks for the info as always though.

{Ed002's Note - It is best to avoid all discussion about money as it causes a great deal of confusion for fans.}

I agree with ace, ed2. Think by september 1st you may need a rubber room or a stint in the priory. Us Everton fans are going to do your head in even more than normal this summer. Thanks in advance for your patience.

Toffeeace, I am fine with the last 20 mins of a game, it's the first 25 minutes that worry me, not many games we have not finished strongly, if we could start matches better would do my indigestion a world of good.

You're not wrong there Baz. As for the indigestion, Rennies during the game and a glass of red when you get home.
