Everyone seems to think we have a 'new Abramovich' but there was a recent post showing the 'rich list' of Premiership owners and we were about 14th. Even sunderland were richer than us. Chill out and let the professionals do their job, and we'll do ours cheering on the sidelines.

{Ed002's Note - It is of no matter how much money the owners themselves have, it is what and how they are looking to invest in the club - which is a different matter entirely.}

But with FFP involved we can only go so far can't we? Can all this 'we have 200 million' be viable as, even though Moshiri has supposedly said this (I haven't heard this) and maybe can afford it, does it not go on percentages of income what we can actually spend?

{Ed002's Note - Generally yes.}

Ed002, I'm genuinely not looking for a debate (due to my responses) but how do you mean genuinely? What are the ways around it as I feel everyone is waiting for an (unreasonabe) spending spree

{Ed002's Note - If a club wishes to declare new investrment and additional spending it can be notified to UEFA by December 31 of the year before it is planned to happen and UEFA will conduct a due diligence activity and approve the request or not. This is a temporary rule introduced that investment in "smaller" sides could be maintained.}

Thanks Ed. Makes sense I guess. Let's the little man catch up with the big boys. Enjoy the rest of your evening spotting Riquelme and Yarmelenko at Lime Street waiting for a taxi.

{Ed002's Note - Thanks man.}
