Personally I hope Everton don't sign any more in January the team has now turned the corner, everyone are playing well, let's give the chance to our up and coming youngsters to shine.

{Ed025's Note - i wont say no to another one or two uran, complacency is never a good thing and its what cost us with our 80,s team who were fantastic but rested on their laurels and failed to strengthen at the right time mate..

I agree ED and with your comment below. We do need a striker.

We seem to be playing our cards close to our chest though and wouldn't have a clue who we are after at the moment.

I'd sit back and see what happens.

I think the 'cards close to our chest' approach is one that I prefer. What good does it do to the fans always thinking 'the one(s) that got away' and why give our rivals, ie spurs, a heads up who's available on the market. As a fan, as an element of surprise, it'll be like Xmas, who we got his year.

Ok, we need a class striker to give Lukaku a break or fest, we need a class centre back at this moment but I can't see that quality being available in this window.

We definitely need a striker. If Lukaku gets injured we're relying on Valencia or Kone (shudders) It's a priority for me.

Uran, I see your point. Let's be honest, who of us would be braver enough to change a winning team. But we still need the options on the bench to change things that aren't going our way. We scored late against Palace which could easily have been 0-0.

I'd like a few additions still so that we have options in case of injuries. And we still need someone with a little craft around the 18 yard box for when Ross has one of those days. And a 10 goal a season striker who can support Lukaku is something that can be got in the January window.

Still need another quality striker, and to continue to invest in our u23 squad. That is where RK can mould the future talent. Already finding it interesting that they are loaning out players from the u23's whilst bringing in new players.

A 10 goal a season striker toffee? I'd rather play Mirrallas (spelling) upfront than a 10 goal a season striker. we need to be aiming for 15-20 at a minimum IMO. When we start playing more games (hopefully next season) it's about squad depth and rotation rather than covering injuries.

I agree Chris, but you won't get a 15-20 striker in January. So if a striker is a need in January then 10 is about all you'll get. That's the point I'm making.

I agree we could do with a new top quality striker and Centre back, Everton are a different club now, they only buy what they want regardless of the fee, I personally feel this quality will not be available this January, Everton have turned the corner now, mainly due to the influence of Davies and Holgate, the two youngest and least experienced in the team, we only need to retain the position whee we are in the league, so blood a few more of our under 23 players and recognise what a fabulous job David Unsworth is doing, he deserves new contract
