I've just listened to David Unsworth on Talk Sport and I've got to say he sounds so impressive.

I am utterly mystified that we have Gareth Southgate as England manager when this guy sounds in a different class to him.

He's passionate and motivational but also sounds as demanding as Koeman himself. He gave some honest assessment on the team and the dynamical changes under Koeman and all with the impression he has a clear plan himself to get them players in that 1st team.

We are damn lucky to have this guy managing our youth and can bet you now Davies and the like will not be the last playing in that 1st team over the next couple of years.

Well done Unsy on as good a job as anyone in Europe in developing young men for the 1st team.

Unsworth will be our next manager when Koeman goes to Barcelona in about three years.

Why the heck would you want Unsy to leave us for England. I would stay schtum about his abilities personally.

Being all the way down in Cornwall, I find that really refreshing to hear. Unsworth was a great servant as a player and tried to move to Villa if you remember but his heart was touched by Everton in the same way all of us was. Some players view Everton as an employer. but some fall in love and will always only have that one love. Big Dunc, Howard Kendall and Dave Hickson to name a few. I love the Dave Hickson quote, "I would have broken bones playing for other clubs, but I would have died playing for Everton". That still brings a lump to my throat. Rhino is one of a similar ilk. Although his quote would probably be, "I would have died for Everton whilst breaking the bones of opposition players! "

Always been a fan of Unsworth but I would not want him as first team manager. His strengths lay in molding players into what the team manager requires. He makes a great bridge to the boss man and his ways.
