If we blamed RM last year when we where beaten then we have to blame RK when we lose. to me i think the signing he has made have been a water of money and I think he has lost the dressing room. he simply is not good enough for our club and I can't see how we can improve with this squad I think it's going to be a terrible season ahead and not sure RK will be here to see it out and it will cost us a fortune to get rid of him and put us back again.

{Ed033's Note - When RK was appointed as Everton manager, it was unknown whether RK was going to become a top manager or not, and therefore he was worth a punt at the time to replace RM. It appears now that he is not a top manager.

Things don't look good, granted. Think we need to give Koeman more than 13 games before we chuck him. Everton have given managers plenty of time before. Can't see or think why they would let Koeman go. Surely he's here for at the very least the end of the season. Unless things get drastically worse.

So we are still blaming managers, at any point is anyone going to admit that maybe the players are not up to it.
I find it incredible that people are still blaming the manager, this is now 2 that can't get the best out of the players so maybe the blame needs to be looked at elsewhere!

Agree Sid. We still have far to many average players at the club, and to many injury prone players. If I hear one more supporter say Gibson is the answer I will scream. We lack consistency, and you don't get that with injury prone players. We lack talented midfielders. Today we ended up with three wingers on the pitch . But most of all we lack a leader, someone who won't settle for poor standards and who leads by example. And no Jags isn't the one. This team is like a ship without a rudder, going bloody nowhere.

Bit confusing that post Sid. Not that I agree but if '2 managers can't get the best out of the players' surely that means the team is underperforming. As in, the best is not being gotten out of them. That is after all the managers job. All you can ask of the manager really.

I'm not blaming Koeman at this stage. Way too early. Next May at the earliest he should be judged properly imo. Hell, if I'm being totally honest the end of the 2017/ 18 season is when he should be properly judged. Rather than 13 games.

Or it means that the players are not good enough, are incapable of carrying out the managers instructions. Do not have the skill to do what the manager wants. Don't understand what he is asking them to do.
Maybe what we are currently seeing is the best that both managers can get out of the players currently at their disposal, and that is all the players are capable of giving and these players are not as good as everyone thinks.
I have never seen an Everton side with so little movement in front of the man with the ball. I suspect this is why Barkley dawdles on the ball and eventually loses it because when he looks forward to move the ball on the players in front of him are stationary. This then leads the fans getting frustrated with him.
