I'm as disappointed as anyone. But do people think we were going to win every game? I agree with changing the line up. Koeman done nothing wrong imo. Players didn't deliver tonight and some done themselves a lot of harm when being considered for selection in the future.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think we will win every game NBTB, but what i do expect is a certain level of skill and commitment from players who are very well paid and that should be busting a gut to break into the first team, and thats not what i seen tonight mate..

I agree Ed025. As I said in my post some players done themselves a lot of harm. Gives Koeman even more insight into the squad.

Yep NBTB and in the main shows how important Barry is to Gana who looked a shadow of his previous performances. Lennon and Cleverly just not good enough. signed by who? And I guess McCarthy must still be injured?

Lennon and Cleverly were signed for a combined fee of £5m. They were well worth the punt to sign. Although they are not showing themselves to be capable at the moment they were OK since they signed. For £5m you can't really give out. That was when we were stuck for money.

Never wanted the manager that signed them but he also signed the player you say we were missing badly Barry. Also badly missed Lukaku last night. Both signed by who?

{Ed025's Note - i fail to see your point NBTB, cost means nothing to me mate as im not paying but what does matter is commitment, attitude and the quality to do at least the basics, the positive thing is that ronnie can see it as well and thats why they are not playing regularly.

Point was Ed025 at the time the club hadn't much money and were looking for players who didn't cost an arm and a leg. Imho in that situation the club was dead right to sign Cleverly and Lennon. What was the alternative at the time? Sign no one?

I know its not an excuse for their performance last night. I agree it was terrible. Degsy was claiming they shouldn't of been signed in the first place. Mine was they should of. These things happen. But its one game. I wouldn't read everything into it. Even though it was very disappointing.

{Ed025's Note - they were a stop gap at a time when we needed them NBTB i agree, if we learned one thing from last night though its that we need better players to fill in when we have injuries, suspensions and the ACON comes around, im confident that ronnie is well aware of this and will act accordingly starting with january hopefully mate..
