Morning Blue's.

Just a quickie.

What's happened to Bill Kenwright since Moshy took over?

I have a lot of respect for the guy. Is he still part of EFC or has he quietly walked away?

Have a good season Gents.

He is still Chairman of the club and appears to be very much involved in transfer dealings.

Thats why it took so long to get new owners interested, bill wanted to sell his train set but still play with it, but Moshy will get rid, wait and see, LOL.

Come on stig, He is entitled to to " play " after everything he has done for the club. By all accounts BK has a reputation as a top notch negotiator and as such has saved and made the club millions over the years.

Moshri is no fool and if he thought that BK was doing badly I am sure he would have a different negotiator in place by now or at least someone to be with BK to advise.

This season more than any other has been a difficult one for all of the clubs regards transfers due to the big amounts given by sky, many players are over-priced with clubs no longer needing to sell the players they have, that is what is slowing us down.

It's no secret that BK was looking for the right investor to take over the club if not he could of sold the club many times over as an on going business concern, instead he waited, invested his own money in keeping us afloat, and waited for an investor that would see the club as he does. It is also no secret that BK will be standing down he has said so himself, as soon as he is satisfied that Moshri is the real package he will go, he has gone on record as saying this.

BK has done wonders for our club and deserves none of the stick he gets, without him and his love of EFC we would be in the lower leagues saying " If BK had only chosen the right person to sell to instead of grabbing the money from the first offer "

Ever spoken to the guy? He bleeds blue blood. I can guarantee he is as big an Evertonian as anyone else on this site. Would you stitch up Everton? Of course not. He is not in it for the money. To him it is a marriage. At times happy and at times sad. but he is in it for life. He will do what he thinks best for Everton. He may not always get it right, but I can promise you that on his deathbed, he will have no guilty conscience about his time at Everton.

{Ed001's Note - well said.}

GT some fans have issues with BK and to some extent I'm one of them mainly (in my case anyway) for his obstinacy re RM firstly giving a proven PL failure the job of Everton Football Club manager and secondly allowing this proven failure the chance of almost taking my beloved Everton into the Championship !

That said BK is a Blue and loves the club without doubt and for that reason alone I will pull my punches because although he has flaws he also has strengths too and yes I believe for the most part he been good for this club .

Degsy well said mate. All he has done for the club was and has been in the club's best interest.

Totally agree Grumpy and Degsy. Couldn't agree more with both but stig won't agree with us. His mind is made up on BK and that's fair enough. He's entitled as much as any of us to have his own opinion.

Blue247 I was as annoyed as you with Martinez being at the club. Never wanted him. Even when we were flying in his first season people were saying what a great manager he was. My reply was we'll see next season.

I know it was BK's decision but I don't blame him for that. He's human like us all and did make mistakes. That's inevitable no matter who we have in charge. But overall the positives far outweigh the negatives.

Imho the club benefited enormously from his work and passion. He was shrewd in his appointment of Moyes and this latest take over. Imo the 2 most crucial points of his tenure and he couldn't of gotten the decision, both times, any more right.

The club and supporters owe an awful lot to BK. The man should be allowed go whenever he feels like it. The least he deserves imho.
