Here's my look at Lukaku and Stones. not once has our club come out and said we are selling them. I have heard Chelsea have not once bid for Lukaku and it's the media trying to sell our players. Jim White from sky tweeted that Costa is staying at Chelsea so why would they then bid 68 million for Lukaku when they have 4 strikers?

now to Stones; Pep said he is interested but doesn't know if it's possible now neither club have confirmed any bid have been made and it's once again the press running the stories to unsettle our players (mostly the Daily Mirror). I'm not saying they won't go but as it stands I expect Lukaku to stay and as each day goes by I also expect to Stones to stay.

how do others see it?

I think that you're correct about the press influences. But there probably have been bids for both. It's just that the clubs are very private.

Chelsea last year were nothing but crass the way they touted Stones as a Chelsea player designate. And that only strengthened our resolve not to sell. I think this year with Lukaku they have adopted a more respectful approach in order to get their man.

As for City, they have indeed declared their interest and are by no means presuming that a deal will be done.

We are being shown more respect by clubs wanting our players now because I believe they have had their fingers burned in the past. We just need the ignorant media to join the party. They're a bit slow on the uptake on that one.

See Lukaku response last night when he heard Bobby was his international manager 😅 it was phenomenal.

I think roberto will do well in international football. It is a lot slower than the premier league, which will suit his style.
