I didn't want him either Dave, no sour grapes from me mate, I just think that he is not the ideal fit for your high expectations from what is a massive club with a bigger history than Liverpool :) , he only needs a bad run like at Chelsea and will fold again, especially with some of your legends already slating him i. e. Cantona

I personally think Mourinho will fix Manchester United and Manchester United will fix Mourinho my opinion is he is perfect for us so I'm delighted with the appointment.

Tbh discodave, I never expected him to come to us, I wished it cause he could of stabilised us IMO and progressed us 4-5 years in 2-3. But I think building a club up as in a real project is beyond him now, set in his ways of buy everything in rather than develop.

I think he is a excellent appointment for United, if he's the right onge? Well! time will tell on that one.

Dave you are dreaming of you think you can fix JM. He's his own man and will never change for anyone. We need to deal with realities here and for that history talks. He will bring you the title he will bring you cup success and he will play boring football. He will also bring reproach on your club by allowing his ego to rule when a little humility would be the classy thing to do.

If you want success with him - no problem, it's guaranteed.
If you want integrity to your club and it's fine history - forget it.
