Regardless of who the next manager is I just hope that they make David Unsworth assistant manager. We need someone like him who loves the club and as on Sunday shows passion and commitment. What a difference compared with Jones.

dj on radio city 2 has just said "jose to everton could be on" he said he has heard that he is in talks with everton. he is still saying it now.

I have had a feeling for a time that Jose will be our next manager and my feelings our very often right.
Personally I do not want him as he has never built a team and does not use the youth at the club.

Think unsworth should stay with the under 21s it looks like he has got a good thing going there him and sheedy look capable of neutering a whole new generation of academy players through to first team contention. . Think the new manager will be well pleased with the young talent expected to come through in the next couple of years . He will sign at least a three year deal so will want to know who has a chance of making it to his team while he's there. On the manager debate I would love Jose but is it realistic I think not koeman seems to decided against it so that leaves Pellagrini or De Boer for me it's the younger man he's a well recognised name in football won stuff as a player and manager is meant to be a bit of a hard nose any one who doesn't want to buy in to what he whants to do will be gone and is young enough to build something at Everton.

That's fine and dandy providing Unsworth is happy to stay with the U21's. I suspect that he would like to get more experience with the first team. The last thing we won't is for him to leave the club in order for him to get his wish.

Milomj, he arguably doesn't need to build a team, we have a solid foundation we just need a few additions in order to really push on, I believe if he could get the team in the right mindset we could make a push for top 4.

it was smeghead. he said it quite a few times he said "this is what i am hearing that everton are in talks with jose". then ten mins later utd put out their statement. i am thinking that if jose is talking to everton then utd have got wind of it and put their statement out to try and stall it for a bit till they find out if lvg wants to stay or not because i bleave they will not sack him.
