I've just seen the new state of my beloved EFC. I was prepared to get behind Martinez, now I find that EFC has become Wigan down the road. Everything that Moyes made of Everton in the backroom has gone. If I thought that Martinez was a good motivator I would stand by him. But he and his staff motivated them (Wigan)too the Championship. Now we have that staff. Smart move Bill (I only want the best)

I understand your frustration, Tony but isn't it natural these days for a new manager to take his old staff with him to a club? Even Owen Coyle has taken his new Wigan staff from his last job at Bolton. Plus the new staff got some good games out of distinctly average players, in some cases at Wigan. I doubt Gus Poyet will be taking his staff to his next job though. He might be the exception to the rule.

Stop being a fool and get behind them. They're here now and there is nothing you or I can do about it. So instead of screaming doom from the rooftops let's give them a chance to show what they can do. Just because it went tits up at Wigan doesn't automatically mean the same will happen to us.

Do one lad, you haven't given robby a chance, i'm sure he's going to be an everton legend

Tony, come on now, Everton haven't become Wigan. They are FA Cup champions and playing in Europe

If professional footballers can't motivate themselves in front of 35-40000 fans screaming their names and cheering them on then they shouldn't be playing

I'm not shout doom from the rooftops. Yes it is frustration. We all talk about moving forward. I don't see this as moving forward. Yes, I'm prepared to give RM a chance but I don't see it working. "Your in my heart, your in my soul". I've supported our club since I was 6 years old, back in 1949. It has a habit of coming back and biting your b*m (except under Harry)

Yes onlyhaveeyesforblue the Wigan backroom staff did get some good result from a mediocre team (the result against us), but is that what we aim for, the odd good result or Champions League?
