Would like to say I'm a little disappointed with the number of Evertonians who would sell Jelavic.
Yes, we all know that he has had a poor season, but he is still a class act, as last season proves. I actually feel sorry for him, as he always puts a shift in, possibly to the detriment of his finishing. I think with no Euro's to contend with and with a good rest and a decent full pre-season behind him that he will be back to his best. I think that we should all get behind him 100% for the remainder of the season and for the next campaign rather than see him as part of any potential transfer accumulator.

Shropshire Blue.

Well said shropshire blue, we are to quick to slag off players when they have a bad time, yella is a good hard working player and he will start scoring again, starting with a double in the derby {Ed025's Note - lets hope so griff.

Even though I am one of those negative people and I don't like BK, Jelavic is going to HAVE to prove all us negative supporters wrong because the amount of times he's been 1v1 with the keeper and missed is appaling, if he performs like this next year, he will be labeled a one season wonder which do exist, (Yakubu, Cisse, Jerome, Kenwyne Jones etc. ) But if he manages to get over 15 goals next year I will be the first to admit I was wrong, but until then he needs to get his act together and try and fire in a few in the last 3 games.

I'm with you. Anichebe has had a pretty good season, but Jelavic at his best is a much better player {Ed025's Note - its all about form though AJ, and that makes vic the starter for me mate..

I'd like to see KM start up front against the RS with Barkley behind. He tore them to shreds in the last game and could do it again. If we play long or up to Vic to hold up, carragher and agger will clean up all day long because that's their game. Give them some pace to worry about and they're in trouble.

Agger and Carragher are not the most powerful of defenders mate, I like Carragher as a player and person but not only is he not powerful but he is very slow, Agger is very weak for a centre back and is also slow, not only that but he gets caught out very often and Vic will cause them both problems.

I didn't say they were powerful Phil (maybe I did imply it, actually), I was just pointing out that if we hit it long to Vic, straight down their throats then it's meat and drink for them pair. I know they're slow but I believe they'd prefer to be up against strength and power rather than trickery and pace.

Sorry if it seemed like I twisted your words mate I thought you meant they would bully Vic because he's not as quick as Kev.

No drama Phil. No need to apologise either lad.
