Shocking decision by Bournemouth to sack Scott Parker played 4 beat Villa lost to Arsenal City and Liverpool the 3 games they lost I can't see many teams beating them 3.

{Ed025's Note - I think there is more to do with it than that lamps. But I agree it is crazy mate..

Think it’s linked to his demands for players and the board’s approach to sustainability. The manager knows they don’t have enough to stay up, and the board are not prepared to back him. They’ll move to get a yes man in.

Agreed, it’s more down to him wanting more recruits and Bournemouth’s philosophy over the years has worked very well and is the envy of say a Stoke or Sunderland for sure.
What this Sacking does do is crank more pressure on the narrative for Lampard and Gerrard (for example) , whether it be right or wrong the 1st sacking always seems to do this!

Why would they sack Frank when he’s still signing players and moving players on? That would be madness.
Oh w sit though….

It's the reality of business.

Parker’s sacking is more to do with comments criticising Board and lack of transfer
Think the “I’ll equipped” comment probably didn’t got down well despite probably being true
Club like Bournemouth has a very small stadium so struggle with revenue generated from match days
Shows the importance of a good stadium and difference it makes to income.

{Ed001's Note - Denim has been funding them since he bought them.}

Get ready for the sacking scattergun. Ed025 we must be insane or sane in an insane world. dfs thinks its the 'reality of doing business' What next, pay as you manage. F#*k me.

{Ed025's Note - i hope we dont go down that road NBTB, we need to give frank and his team time to gel and progress us in a sustainable way, but football has no scruples mate, i just hope we are better than that..

Agree 100%. Obviously being sarcastic with the pay as you manage. Same with Barkley pay as you play. Lampard was the last I wanted to see come. But since he has come in I think he has been fantastic. He inherited a total mess. As you say he and the players deserve time.

A lot going on behind the scenes with Parker it seems. Got them promoted and beat Villa. Worth keeping in my books.

Fantastic is a bit strong. Think it is something like won 6 out of 22. Currently our worse start in 12 years. I wanted Benitez but that proved a mistake. After that debacle it came down to a choice of one, it is he that has to try and pull us out of this mess of our own making.

Very good dfs. He may need just a little bit longer than 4 or even 5 games to do that.
