Ed, I know we have had previous interest in sande berge wondering for 1. If he would be available this summer and 2. Do Everton still hold an interest.

{Ed002's Note - Sander Berge (DM) Leeds are looking to him as an addition but it is unclear how he would be used with Marc Roca added. Southampton have shown an interest but again with Oriol Romeu still being first choice they make an unlikely buyer. Interest of Everton will have gone unless Allen were to move on - Lampard would be interested. Newcastle offer a wildcard option.

Theoretically speaking then Ed, how long do sheff utd parachute payments last for? Are they in a position they need to sell? I really rate berge, wondering what the fee would be if we did follow up on if Frank was interested. With sheff utd being in the championship maybe one of our youngsters could go the other way… simms?

Is there any interest in Allen ed? With what you've said previously about him wanting to go back to Italy, if my memory is correct, had his family not settled? I was expecting him to be one of the first out goings.
