Kieran Dowell is a really good example of how difficult it is for clubs to develop young talent for First team.
Watched him play a few times for u18s and he was quality (bit like Barkley) . But it seems that the pace of the senior game has found him out, as it has with so many others.
Think he is probably at the right level now with Norwich as the Prem was a step to far.

Although not as good Dowell was like Kevin Sheedy, can play a killer pass and could strike a ball well.

The defending side of their game was weak, but even with that in mind, I still think Dowell could have done a better job than Iwobi, Sidebe, or Walcott on the right.

Just never got a run of games like Tom Davies has.

Very good signing for Norwich and one I think who will go on and make it, with a regular run of first team outings.

Mate he couldn’t cut it at Forest or Derby. He was never going to make with us.
