Ed002, I know newspaper links to Reinier from Flamengo are likely to be nonsense Ed, but let's assume there is some truth in it for a second, surely we would have the problems getting a work permit for him as we reportedly did for Santiago Sosa? not to mention the kid is only 17 years old. a child still.

{Ed002's Note - I don't know what the papers have said and I am in transit right now (just leaving Paddington on a very busy 09:03, but Reinier (S) is still a child but several sides (from Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal and England) have spoken to Flamengo regarding taking an option on him. Two sides were warned early last year after making approaches to the families of Reinier and another player (who has since agree a move to Barcelona) that FIFA had been informed of the approaches - and both clubs quickly scurried away. There remains a fear amongst several clubs that FIFA will outlaw the pre-sale or creation of options on children in order to protect them - this has led to Real Madrid and Porto returning to speak with Flamengo. They are asking €70M which is way too high. I am not sure when he turns 18 but he cannot move this summer.}

I believe he is 18 in January so a transfer internationally can only happen then.
