They would not be relegated under Sam that's certain.
He treated Everton the way they deserved, I am still ashamed of they attitude of my fellow supporters and Moshiri.

We were never in any danger of going down and never needed Allardyce DC. It was just a bad decision that brought him here. I feel no shame whatsoever. He got what he deserved the thieving bar steward.

{Ed025's Note - im with you nick, a mercenary of the lowest order who took the job to feather his own and his pals nests, a scum bag of a man who i am ashamed to ever have been associated with our club..

Agree. It is definitely a stain on our history that we can't ever remove.
Everything that our great club stands for and we employed a corrupt charlatan and a crook.

{Ed025's Note - you are being too nice to him there smit..

He used us and we used him Everton are just as bad. We are in trouble over youth signings etc so are club is not angelic, well not under Moshiri.

I don't see how we used him, or how he used us. We employed him and reviewed it after 6 months. After that time our board decided not to continue with his services. that's football.
It is more to do with him being a Walsh choice and Walsh leaving too.

To say Everton are just as bad as Allardyce is absurd.
Im not sure what axe you have to grind with the club DC but your bitterness towards Moshiri, silva and the board is evident in your posts.

We have heard all this before from Dark Clouds, defending Allardyce and trying to throw some of the Blame on Everton, he got well paid for being the Manager and very well compensated when Everton sacked him.

We all love Everton and many love football in general but let's be honest, fotball is full of people at all levels making money that they maybe should not, Allerdyce is no different to most in the game.
We have many players we cannot sell because they are on fat contracts and will not go for that reason. Silva came because we offered him loads of money, god knows why we did. Agents take money from the game and get crazy contracts for players.
So picking on Sam is stupid he is just part of a greedy sport that takes us suckers for granted.
When I grew up I had idols in this game, I have non know and little or no respect for anyone in the game.

{Ed002's Note - You need to realise that what you are saying only applies to a small proportion of the game, the top flight in England and a few teams from the other major European leagues - it is far from the norm. If you look at the Dutch and Belgian leagues it is not like this at all. There is a significant financial imbalance still.}

The reason behind our dislike of Sam DC, is because he does get paid a lot of money for what he does, but unlike most others doesn't then go and set up a dodgy deal to get even more money. Breaking the rules made by his own employers, employers who were already paying him a large amount of money.
Whether he has been overpaid in his career or not, I don't know but he has been caught out and proven to be a cheat.
You call us stupid for so called picking on Sam. Well we are not the ones calling Silva a fraud, when all he is doing is earning a wage and trying to do his best.
You are slating a good honest guy and in the same breath championing a cheat.
You need to reassess who is being stupid here.

Have to be careful what you say smit666, Alardyce has not been proven to be anything of the sort, has he been charged or fined for criminal activity. In our case, we could not in fairness to our desperation attract anyone else, so went for Alardyce ('Proven record in the Prem') and just for an end of season contract, Sam knew our desperation so held out. We gave him an 18 month contract, with full intention of paying him off at the end of the season. Personally I would have given him until the end of his contract and taken more time and due dilligence over his replacement instead of jumping for a 'proven' failure. That is business and decisions taken with far more knowledge than I can admit to.
