We had a tough game Sunday I know, and it's early days into the Revolution, but some players were well below par last night. If we want to compete with the big boys we need to improve and start showing some consistency. Yes Newcastle were difficult to break down, but we squandered chances to bury them and now the Fat Spanish Waiter is claiming it was a tactical masterstroke on his part. We have to get at Watford on Monday then show City and Spurs we don't fear them.

Agree with that BigH, i also have been saying the same thing, i think the writing could be on the wall for players like Lookman and Tosun who have had many chances to shine, it would maybe be a good time to loan Lookman out to someone like Southampton to get him up to par by playing regular footy in the premiership Tosun might also be loaned back to Turkey, some of the rags today saying we could be on the lookout for a right back due to a few poor performances by Seamus, not sure I agree with that one though, he has been a faithful servant for us and has got more to offer, personally i think Marco and Marcel will have this sorted come the January window especially as we have seen what they did in the last one, i certainly have only praise for what they have done so far ou team has changed beyond recognition to Sam's efforts.

I just don't get the downer on Seamus tbh. He's always been one of our most consistent players. Yes he was injured and it takes some time to get back to your previous best, but if you watch the games I think you'll see he's trying. Imo he's being let down too often by those he tries to link up like Theo who has trouble holding the ball up and does little if anything to help defensively.
