Lots of media now saying we are in pole position for Usmanov to join Mr Moshiri and to invest in Everton further.

{Ed025's Note - i think people are guessing GB, it could happen i suppose but he could also buy newcastle or a lot of other teams so im taking it with a pinch of salt at the moment mate..

Same as that mate, but what a dream if true eh.

{Ed002's Note - There have been preliminary discussions over another club already.}

Ac Milan ed?

{Ed002's Note - It is unimportant.}

As usual when Ed002 is asked for any specifics 'it is unimportant' or 'You wouldn't understand. So funny!

{Ed002's Note - It is unimportant to Everton - it is nothing to do with the club at all. Idiot.}

If you read Usmanov’s statements he never says about financial support to Moshiri so it could also anything else to assist running the club.

It would be nice to know though ed if you could shed any light?

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of Usmanov looking to buy in to Everton (which is very much Moshiri's project) nor am I aware of him making any approach to Newcastle at this time. I am aware that he will look to take overall control of a club when the time is right.}

I don't believe for a minute that he is going to buy into Everton. For the simple reason being how undermining and belittling would that be for Moshiri? He has done tremendous work at Everton so far and has a future at the club. I know if I was Moshiri I would feel slightly undervalued if someone came in and started interfering with the running of a project that I have put so much energy into.

I understand that they may have had it all arranged from the beginning, fair enough if that is the case, great. My belief is this is solely Moshiri's project and I'm happy enough with that. There have been some early teething problems but that is to be expected. The team that is in place at the club now is encouraging and their first transfer window was nothing short of spectacular. Future is bright without another part owner coming in imho. I can only speak for myself but I'm excited enough with Moshiri on board. More than capable of bringing us forward.

Cheers ed.
And yeah agree with that NBTB, couldn't see Moshiri would want to relinquish control after the great work he's done. Unless that's been the plan all along as you say.
Maybe he will take control of a foreign club and also invest a wee bit into Everton.

Maybe he will, maybe he won't, none of us knows. For now Mr Moshiri is calling the shots and that's fine by me. If Mr Usmanov does invest in some capacity in the future great. If not we are still in a stronger position than we have been for a long time so let's just enjoy the ride.
