Sounds interesting to me. First time he’s openly come out regarding quantity of players. It’s going to be a hard and intense few weeks for us on the transfers front. That’s IN and OUT. Glad to finally have the ball rolling with Richarlison in and look more likely Digne will also be agreed by the end of the week! Exciting times Blues!

Any other ideas on other targets Ed’s?

{Ed002's Note - Well I have explained what I know. Where it stands right now is something like this:
(LB) Digne off is apparently very low, and nothing has been done to progress a far better player in Marvin Plattenhardt after Everton walked away from Tierney
(CB) Yerry Mina situation is largely unchanged but Everton seemed to have stepped back from Vida
(CM) Abdoulaye Doucoure - Watford knocked back Everton's offers for Doucoure; maybe should have been smarter with the preferred options of Andre-Franck Zambo Anguissa (stupid offer) or Yves Bissouma (an absolute bargain for Brighton) - no approach for Loftus-Cheek at this time
(LW/AM/F) Richarlison - a decent player but doesn't score enough - Everton should have put their trust in to Lookman who will very much be looking to move on now and the move will take Lozano out of the reckoning
(S) Paco Alcacer is probably not going to happen now but I would offer up (again) the wildcard of Hannes Wolf who Everton should look to as part of any deal for Lookman.}

Thanks for the insight Ed. Any possibility of Upamecano as part of Lookman deal. Good quality and young and more importantly, left footed CB who can play LB and CDM.

Is it your opinion that Plattenhardt is far better than Digne or is that the general thought by respected people within the game?

Or is it more that he's far better suited to what Everton need?

I've only seen little bits of both play so personally very happy with either of them, but without extensively watching them it's easy to be wrong.

I don't think he meant it like that 002 you're obviously well respected but from what I've read of your replies to people you seem to have a chip on your shoulder a lot of the time, I sometimes laugh at your comments but you've got that one wrong imo.

I don’t think it’s a chip more that is fans often ask some stupid questions after we’ve been playing Fifa or seen some wild story
I know I am guilty of it at times

We will just have to see what Marcel and Marco decide.

Ed002 I don't think Worcester meant any disrespect. I would have asked is your opinion on Plattenhardt being a better acquisition then Digne based on the type of full back suited to playing a more attacking game Everton seem to like or do you just think Plattenhardt is a better all round player?

Honestly not what I was saying at all Ed02 and my sincerest apologies if it sounded that way.

I meant it as in the consensus of a group of people's opinions rather than one persons opinion. It's like if Arsene Wenger highly rated one player but everybody else didn't, you'd tend to believe the opinion of the masses. Does that make sense?

Again, honestly no offence intended in the slightest.
