rumour from Gregg o'kieth that Marco Silva is Moshiris number one choice and I would be happy with that but do have a concern that say he has a great start and a bigger club comes calling will the same thing as Watford happen at us time will tell I suppose.

I think we would of all been happy if we had got him earlier in the season but he didn't cover himself in glory the way he treated Watford and how it fell apart and we are now being linked with a range of higher profile managers it's a very big summer for Moshiri as we find out if he has learnt by his mistakes.

Just waiting for that final whistle of the final game of the season and then hopefully we will have a much clearer picture of what direction we are going in whether it's dare I say it Sam staying or a new manager with new ideas plus Brands as DOF of course.

Whatever we like to believe about where our club “deserves to be”, Everton have a lot of work to do (on and off the field) in order to become a winning “big” club - let alone catch up to the global “super” clubs.
Until then, it’s inevitable that any player or coach that’s successful at Everton will attract the interest of these other clubs. As long as this means Everton have received the benefit for a while - and we then receive decent financial compensation (transfer fee) and can replace with at least like-for-like (hopefully even better! ) , then I’ll accept it (I might not like it! ) as part of Everton’s strategic development.
When we can compete for trophies with the top teams, then we can start reversing the flow of talent, but for now we’re still below them in football’s “food chain”.
Onwards and upwards, fellow Evertonians.
