Hi Ed how long can this sigurdson saga go on for? Fans are getting fed up and surely we should walk away. It has been 'imminent' for a month now. I'm not so sure we have had as good a window as people are making out and can feel some of he optimism draining out of me tbh.

{Ed002's Note - Sure, if Everton want to walk away then they can. Everton knew the asking price and know what needs to be done to make it happen - do you expect Swansea to cave in and sell the player more cheaply than they value him? Maybe Everton could keep Ross Barkeley and Spurs could buy GS back instead?}

Ed002 you have hit the nail on the head there mate, hopefully Barkley will have a u-turn amd we will have 50 mil to spend on the squad, i won't hold my breath on that though mate, i think Barkley is definitely leaving.

{Ed002's Note - I would forget the money.}

ed2 as usual is spot on. I honestly thought that the Everton dithering sickness had ended. As Ed2 says, Everton knew the asking price also know/ knew that Swansea would not budge, so why all the buggaring about. Could it be that they are not that keen after all?

Presumably the people involved from both sides don't just sit in a darkened room until they have a deal. The people involved in the negotiations have other things to do aswell and other deals to work on so it will take as long as it takes. As long as we get our player there's no need to panic.

Even if we don't get Gylfi this has been an excellent window. Think back twelve months, and ask yourself would we have been in a position to loan out some of our youngsters. They are now getting valuable playing time in a stronger league, which can only be a positive to the club.
