Hi Eds,

Are the Grosicki rumours true?

I think we should be aiming higher than him.

When he came into Hull, he got a few assists and don't think he scored.

Would rather have Kevin or Mola on the wing than him.

I think the money could be better spent elsewhere.

i don't know what fans want or expect, but kamil is exactly the type of squad player we need. he will probs want to come he is quick and tricky. won't cost too much, hull only paid 7 and a half for him. apart from a target man and barks replacement we need squad players. that will be happy to wait for their chance to play and work hard both on and off the pitch. this is your guy and seriously the money would not be better spent elsewhere, cause we have a good team already and any big player would want the promise of regular 1st team footie. i reckon you will be impressed by him next season if we get him to sign.

Im under no illusion that we need squad players and you can't fill every spot with first teamers.

However, what is wrong with giving the likes of Dowell, Lennon, Mirallas this spot.

He is 29, he is far from prolific. Aiden McGeady is quick and tricky and look how he turned out.

I have seen enough of Grosicki play at Rennes and Hull, to form an opinion of him and i stand by the fact that the money would be better spent elsewhere.

i guess it depends on what you mean by prolific i mean the obvious elephant in the room has already been mentioned anybody who is prolific would want the promise of 1st team and i hate to point out the obvious but none of your options are exactly prolific either. we need a winger. personally i don't get why a guy who says he knows the player from having watched him wouldn't want him you really want to go into europe with a group of youngsters with no expeience of playing there cause with the team we currently have with one more option on the wing and one up top and the kids you point out i think europa league could be our back door to champs league next season it will be hard to make top four this year fingers crossed like but yeh we need experience for europe not kids . ps we got rid of mcgeady cause he was too slow and i kinda liked mcgeady scored a couple of whoppers. it takes time to build a team and we've only just started.

The elephant in the room is that everyone's talking about wingers who can cross the ball but we don't have anything to aim at. I rate Grosicki and would be happy if we got him, but I think a decent front man who can head the ball is a must. Worst thing is that the obvious one who comes to mind is Benteke, but think I'd rather get Big Dunc out of retirement.

Is it not possible that we have a target man or two in our sights and Grosicki is being signed to provide for him? In this day and age of information overload, we think we know every detail of every deal going on. We don't. We'll have a list of targets to fill the no.9 role. I rate Grosicki and hope we get him in - I think the fans will be surprised by his quality.

Mirallas is not good enough, constantly flatters to deceive, and I can see him moving on.
Ademola looks like he could be a player - but still young and there has been talk of him being homesick.
We have lost McGeady and Geri from last season (thankfully) and we now have Europe on top of everything else.
I think Grosicki is a decent addition who is far more a Koeman type player than the above.
PS - I still think there are 3/ 4 more - CF, CH, Sig and maybe a LB.

Add Grosicki, Giroud and Sigurdsson to what we've already got an that's close on a perfect window for me. Would imagine we'll have to offload a couple of make that work though given restriction on squad numbers.
