I really don't know what's going to happen with Barkley, it's Very quiet at the moment, I really don't want him to go as I think he can play with a bit more confidence as oppose to thinking he we don't perform it's my fault, there are other quality players there now and the fact a local boy who should not be looking to go anywhere just to win things, learn from Rooney about pressure here is a guy that left his boyhood club and won everything at club level broke records that stood for long time and not sure they will get broke again, and now instead of walking away for money beyond belief, he moved back to the club he loves where there is all eyes on him, talk about pressure.
Barkley take £100k a week stay at your boyhood club and learn from the best English player there has been since Gazza
Credit to Rooney agent as well, how refreshing to see an agent getting him back there knowing he could of made a fortune going to China, I know they been together long time but you only have to look at Lukaku agent.

Rooney Barkley and Davies could be the past present and future of Everton's greatest talent on show, I would love to see goals created from Davies battling determination in midfield, leading to Barkley driving the play forward to find Rooney who dazzles with a sublime finish as he wheels away having scored to acknowledge Davies and Barkley!
Guess I will have to just keep enjoying those moments in my Everton pyjamas playing FIFA ☺️.

i wonder if barkley will show the kind of sentiment that seems to be in the hearts and minds of evertonians altho, i very much doubt it. he hasn't been as quiet as people think, he has been offered more to stay than he will get from spurs. established spurs stars are on less than him now, that's for sure. i don't think he will ever stop being an evertonian however, he seems to be under the illusion that a move will get him his england place back said it before and i will say it again he has been poorly advised. his desire to leave efc is in my opinion nothing to do with ambition or money he has had his head turned by someone and probs doesn't know what to do. his silence and efc's pursuit of gylfi means he will leave surely, efc will not pay nearly 90 million for klassy and gylfi then have a third player like barkley that would be nearly 130 millions worth of att mid players if you think about it how is he going to win his eng place back with 2 rivals who have much better stats than him and throw rooney into the mix, would barks even make the team at this point if efc sign gylfi imo it definitely means the end of ross at efc and fans should remember it is and has always been his choice.

I would like to see Barkley go, he does not want to sign his contract so does not want to play for Everton. I doubt if we get Gylfy he would get anywhere near the first team anyway.
His problem is he thinks he is to good for Everton, well Everton are now to good for him.
No champion league club wants him that must tell you something. West Ham is his level and not worth more than £25 mill. He may be a local lad but he still has to be good enough and love the club and he fails on both counts.
I await all the abuse lol.

Its World Cup year. He has to be playing. That's the only reason I think he won't sit out his 12 months contract. I think he will go to Swansea In swap deal. Works out well for all parties. I think he has shots himself in the foot.

Swap him for sigurtson - save the 40 million for dzeko/ giroud/ dembele/ benteke.

yeh but you have to be realistic, why would swans swap him for gylfi? i am shocked (not as shocked as i was 10 mins ago when i read we were in for bony! ) that you think swans would take him as part of any deal or that ross would want such a move which would imo definitely end any chance he had of making the eng squad he would be invisible in south wales (no offence to wales great country) i mean how many times would eng manager go there to watch him play? like it or lump it he is contracted at efc meaning he could just stay and fight for a place which would be better for him than moving to s/ wales if spurs don't come in for him he may well end up at w/ ham or even leicester if gylfi chjooses us over them which he may well not do, but don't be suprised if he sees out his contract. he is now in a catch 22 situation he either goes to a lesser club or he stays or spurs only the lesser club will offer him 1st team football he would be a squad player anywhere else,
