Is it just me or is anyone else a bit disappointed to see Galloway go out on loan again? I think, based on how he played for us the season before last that he is the perfect cover for baines. So does RL think Garbutt is the man or is he planning on signing someone? Any whispers? I think Luke Shaw should be considered. Also, I know we are getting Rooney and have been linked with giroud. But I think we need a top class striker. Sandro looks the business but the prem is much harder to play in than Spain. So it would be unfair to expect him to be a direct replacement for Rom, I say let's go for Vardy. Knows the league and is used to wearing blue! COYB.

{Ed002's Note - I think the problem is that making so many changes and adding players will leave him right on the fringes. So it is better to grab some experience on loan.}

Vardy's main asset is pace, and at 31, it will almost certainly start to wind down!

Galloway showed some promise but is not good enough, he made no impact at WBA, but a loan deal will be good for his development providing he gets regular game time.
We should be looking to sign a left back to challenge Baines for the starting position and be a long term replacement.
We also need another right back, again Holgate has done okay but not his preferred position, he has poor distribution and gives the ball away as a consequence of this.

Championship will be perfect for him.
Looking like Sunderland will become our club to move players on to as they reach the twilight of their careers or send them to on loan to develop ☺️.
