75m would be a decent price, he gets goals but I wonder about his ability to unlock top defences. He's not in line with the likes of Sanchez, Costa yet. If it was 75m and them subsidising Rooneys wages then even better.

Well I guess going to one of the so called big teams means there is one less big teams defence to unlock.

I think this has a long way to go yet, if Chelsea enter the saga we will be in a very strong position.
Come on everton make everyone raid there pennies if they want our players.

If we got 75m and Rooney on a 2 year loan with them paying half of his 250k a week wages that would technically add up to 88m and would be a great deal.

i think we may have a problem if we do sell to Chelski, in that Man U may get the hump and the Rooney deal may be off. Not sure just my opinion.

If they can milk another 5 million in add ons it would roughly cover £100,000 a week more Rooney is after? Personally don't think he is now worth that much but if Moshri wants then so be it.

Also with Rooney aboard we could raise our image on a global scale which could possibly pay for itself +++ if we take the right opportunities.

{Ed002's Note - And how would that work?}

Theory 321: We have spent 100+ million, only 60 million in credit. If TV cash not received yet, we will be minimising our overdraft by getting every penny from my. Bill's a Scouser after all.

{Ed002's Note - You really need to put aside thoughts about money.}
