Hi Ed. Any truth in the Giroud rumour? I think him and Sandro would score a boat load.

I think Giroud would thrive in our strike force for next season, just turned 30 so in his prime and would allow other younger players to come on around him.
And he does look good in blue for France! ☺️.

Lacks pace so if we got him we would have to have someone like Sandro around him. Guy can score goals though.

While I don't think he would score the goals that rom does, he's miles better as bringing others into play. I think he's hugely underrated and would definitely have him.

His goals to games ratio is roughly 1 in 2 for Arsenal so he's not a million miles away from Rom.

Let's be brutal for a minute though, both Rom and Giroud are finishers, Rom thrived off being the focal point of our attack, the likes of Giroud and Sandro will change the whole focus of the team others will be brought into the play and thrive on the service being given to them. Teams won't know where the threat is coming from and we won't suffer like we do when Rom sulks and can't be bothered!
So personally right now I think it would be viewed as an upgrade.
