EFC still interested in Rooney.
There were talks recently but his wages far too high.
Ball is in his court.

I read an article the other day that stated Rooney is rapidly running out of options due to the transfer fee and his high wage demand.
Surely he's made more than enough money out of the game and can afford to take a pay cut in order to play first team football, not necessarily at Everton but at any club that all promise him regular game time.

Totally agree with that last post. But footballers aren't normal.

Is China ruled out? Surely he'd get first team football and the wages he wants if not more.

kinda makes me laugh listenin to peops opinions on why deals are poss or are not. like him or hate him imo this is classic jose wants to spend a kings ransom in the search for success and needs to sell a few in order to to make sense of the buys so he changes his mind on manu' idea of letting wayne go says nothing and then allows speculation to run wild. its waynes fault . we don't want him. however when we bought lukaku from him the goal posts were moved several times to make us jump thru hoops maximizing chel. revenue for the player. which brings me to my point imo rooney isn't pricing himself out of a move with wage demands or transfer fee he is being used as a pawn in an effort to extract the most revenue for manu but the modern day napoleon ( mourinho) needs to wake up and realise that no one is going to pay a hefty fee for wayne and wayne will only go if he likes the idea of the move. ergo i think rooney will move to us its just going to be at the end of the window for jose to sanction the move while he sees how dumb we are in the mean time . worst poss out come of this saga for manu is that rooney is still a manu player at the end of the window.

Fitting in? Never. Living in China? Possibly. Hell I'd live on the moon for money like £500,000 a week. You think he wouldn't consider moving to China for one or two years for that kind of money? Imho Colleen wouldn't mind one bit. Why would she?
