Ed is there any truth that Milan have to raise €19mill in the next nine days to meet Ffp rules so have to sell someone?

I read an article stating we had a £16m bid turned down and then said they want £22m for him.

No they want 20-25 million Euros but are willing to listen to offers due to the time sensitive situation of FFP.

If we bid 20 mill we would get him, which we should do, he is top drawer. To make the next step up to the top 4 you need a top quality bench as well as a top quality 11.

If we can change from having to bring on players like Kone, Valencia, Mirallas Pennington off the bench to the likes of Brozovic, Lookman, Sig/ Barkley/ Klaasen/ Ramirez/ Dembele. 7 decent attackers but only 4 available spots. that's when we have a chance at top 4.

Having a solid 16 players not just a good 11.

I agree Ed in the grand scheme of things it's not much more and would add quality to our midfield options.

{Ed001's Note - Milan are in a lot of trouble, the owner had to borrow the money to buy the club from a hedge fund that are very aggressive in seeking their money back. So he needs to ensure that there is some cash in the coffers to start paying that back. Everton would be mad to just pay the money, there is a deal to be done there.}
