Maybe I'm just wishful thinking. But. With all these transfers going on and more to come. Could this also be a way of trying to get lukaku to stay. If not. Could lukaku actually change his mind and think actually are moving in the right direction.

They know Ross and Lukaku are going that's why they are dealing so quickly before they are left without new faces at the end of the window, as has happened previously . sad but true I wish they would both stay.

Jonno this is gunna upset you and a few others. But Barkley needs to go. Every week he just frustrates me. Then out of the blue he'll show brilliance. For the last 2 maybe 3 seasons I've said that's him done. I think there's only 5 positions he hasn't played and that's any of the back four and goalie. And if your honest with yourself he hasn't really excelled in any. The boy can kick a ball. But if he was really truly that special. His name would be on the master copy of the weekly team sheet. A bit like Lukaku is and Howard was.

Don't get me wrong Ed. I always wanted him to be the English Messi but the last few seasons I just wanted him to pull his finger out his bum. Last season was it for me. If the task master Koeman himself can't get Barkleys head into gear then no-one can. Maybe Alex Ferguson.

For me he's gone backwards, he used to pick up the ball and run at the oppositions defence (Goal against Newcastle) Now he wants to put his foot on the ball and look fancy, but he's just slowing things down. Would love him to want to stay but it doesn't seem like he does so let him go and move on i think.
