Hi Eds,

Have just read an article saying we have been made huge favourites to sign Sandro.

We are at 11/8 and then next in the betting is Arsenal at 10/1.

Not that I am paying any attention to odds as know that's a load of b.s but how come Atletico are not in the betting?

I thought someone mentioned they could sign the player officially in Jan, but could get him on a pre-contract (as long as he doesn't play for them) before then.

Not too clued up on how all this works, so just wondering if you gentleman were aware?

Cheers.

{Ed025's Note - athletico are banned from signing anyone until january JMW and it would mean sandro sitting out for 5 months so it seems unlikely, betting odds are a joke mate take no notice of them..

Yeah as i say i wasnt really paying attention to the odds as i know they are meaningless.

I was just confused why Atletico had gone out of the betting, as was told they can still sign players on pre-contracts.

You said "would mean Sandro sitting out for 5 months" - could he not stay at Malaga and wait for Atletico buy him in Jan? Or are you saying that the player will not want to do that.

If so, does that mean we are back in the driving seat Ed?

{Ed025's Note - well we are still interested as far as i know JMW, but if he wants to go to athletico then he can stay at malaga yes..

If you look at the actual website, the headline is incorrect. Favourite is to stay at to stay at Malaga which is 4/6 - and would probably mean he moves to AM later.
Is only based on club on 3/9 as window closes - meaning he moves to AM in January.

Just poor sensationalist journos again im afraid.
