Ed, saw an article linking us you max kruse. Have you heard anything?

{Ed025's Note - we are certainly linked with him cropper but he is hardly prolific, he would be a back up for me and not our main striker so more of a replacement for kone than rom mate..

Yeh I agree that he is not a replacement for rom. However 15 goals and 7 assists in 24 last season makes him a huge amount better than kone. Plus, and I may be wrong here, but I thought be played off the striker similar to where ross played.

Ed025, a bit harsh on the big German! 1 in 2 record for Gladbach and 1 in 1.5 record for a very average Bremen side! I personally think Kruse is an excellent player, watched him a lot and he is a real presence and nuisance up top.

{Ed025's Note - i have not seen that much of him to be honest CFC so im going on other reports really, but i will take your word for it mate..

He is a good player, struggles a bit weight-wise, but I'd have him over Kone. Mind you, I'd have myself over Kone too and my only good finish is at an all you can eat buffet.

Kruse is absolutely quality. He'd be a great signing.
