Ed, what's the cause of the contract hold up of Barkley? Is he angling for a move away for CL or is it simply money?

As great as he's been this season at times, realistically i don't think he gets into any of the sides above us.

{Ed025's Note - im hearing its money tron, its all fueled by his agent who is trying to feather his own nest it looks like to me, ross is a good player but if he decides he wants to go then so be it and good luck to him, i dont know where he would fit in to another top 8 side myself either mate..

hi Eds so will he get all the money if he's not asked for a transfer the same as Rom? There's news today about Lansini from West Ham and the telegraph have a few interesting names on our wanted list.

Cheers ed, I assumed as much. Barkley doesn't seem the brightest spark so not surprised he's being badly advised. Am I right in thinking his agent is the same as Odemwingie's when he was advised to travel to QPR and wait for a transfer to go through, which never did?

{Ed025's Note - his agent is a faceless management company tron made up of individuals who are bleeding the sport dry, and agents like mino raiola who made over £40m from the pogba deal are taking the money out of the game and lining their own pockets at the expense of the smaller clubs who will eventually go out of business...it makes my blood boil mate..

Unfortunately ed. Until the fa's and the clubs stand up to these greedy agents and players, I can only see it getting worse.
Jimmy hill got a lot to answer for getting rid of wage cap. Haha.

Completely agree ed. Wasn't hahave a go at Jimmy. No one would know how it would escalate after sky money came in. Wages and transfer fees now resemble telephone numbers.
