Are we still interested in martina at saints? We need a RB but surely this guy is not good enough if he is 3rd choice at Southampton. I know we nearly got him in summer and now he would be a free but surely we have moved on from lars Jacobsen type freebies.

{Ed025's Note - trippier at spurs has been looked at jbg, whether or not they would sell is another matter, martina would be very unlikely as i see it mate..

Keep in mind that this is going to be competition for seamus. We aren't likely to get a top class rb just to sit on the bench. Either we go for a really promising youngster, which will depend on what's expected from people like kenny, or we get a solid back up.
