Or a sign he's bought into what Everton are building towards an wants to be part of it.

Everyone on his back saying he wants to show himself on the next platform. Only but praise for him to do that. So hopefully within a year or two that can be with us.

COYB.

Well according to reports (as they say) it will be signed this week and is only waiting Kenwright's signature. Could we be seeing a delay?

{Ed025's Note - no mike, he will sign and it will be a good thing for us whichever way it pans out mate..

Agree ed025, a great day when it gets done and the fat lady sings. Whenever I see quotes like "awaiting Kenwright's signature" I get nervous in case we have a screwup.
I do think that it's about time that we had professionals doing the paperwork and signing off on player contracts.

{Ed025's Note - i think bill gets a lot of flack that he does not really deserve mike, he lives and breathes this club and also because of his stature hes the first person to blame when the board decide to be frugal, the club is moving forward and that is mainly down to him and his recruitment of moshiri and his stabilization of the club when the going got tough years back, its only my view of course and i know some supporters who want him gone but im certainly not one of them mate..

Ed025 I'm with you mate the chairman has put this club back on the road to the big time he could have sold up to the highest bidder but he held out for someone who would take care of his club and he's done it while being unwell and did it with dignity and character, the everton way remember he mortgaged his house for our club he's a champion in my book.

{Ed025's Note - mine too billy..

Well said Ed0025. Gets a bit boring people constantly sniping at Kenwright, blaming him for everything from dirty cups in the canteen to botched transfers. I fully accept he has made mistakes, some huge ones, but i also believe he had the club at heart and the BIGGEST decision of all he appears to have got spot on, ie Moshiri. So can we stop the cheap digs and give some credit where it is deserved.

{Ed025's Note - thats all im asking for dave..a bit of credit where its due mate..

Me neither Ed. I think some fans are very short sited. Bill wants the best for the club, some owners can get clubs into serious debt and they end up having to sell of all their players. It's happened numerous times to various clubs, Villa were competing with Everton a few years ago, now look at them.

{Ed025's Note - he could have sold us down the river many times chris and cashed in his chips for major bucks, but he put the welfare of the club first and for that should be applauded in my book mate.

Don't get me wrong ed I have nothing but praise for Kenwright he has saved the club more than once and as you say brought in Moshiri but he I still think it would be best for the club for him to give up his managerial duties whatever they are and leave it to professionals and if we don't have the right person to run the club I am sure Moshiri can come up with a suitable one. That does not mean he needs to go, he just needs to be be a major shareholder and enjoy the ride.

{Ed025's Note - i get your drift mike and hopefully a life presidency will be on the cards, i just hope people appreciate the work he has done for the club over the years mate thats all..
