A question for any of the eds if they are able to clear this up. There has been a lot of speculation about the future of Ross Barkley since the new manager came in. In the last week I have read in the press rumours of other teams, namely Spurs, being interested in him. In one paper today it says we are actively seeking a buyer for him. So can you enlighten me on whether any of you have heard that we are encouraging other teams to put in a bid for the lad or is it just paper talk? Cheers in advance.

{Ed002's Note - I have already explained about Spurs so I cannot help further there. Barkley is available but the cost may put clubs off. Rob Jansen may well have been informed that he is available immediately if another club can be found. Do not be suprised in interest from Crystal Palace.}

Does barkley want to leave? or do everton no longer want him or is it a bit of both. I am not his biggest fans but some think he is one of the best young talents in the game so why would we want to get rid? When we could bring players in to improve his game.

If koeman wants rid of Barkley then I'm sorry but he's a fool imo and it would say to me that he doesn't care about the future of the club and is only interested in the short term. Which going by his previous managerial positions and the time he spends at each club wouldn't surprise me tbh.

{Ed002's Note - As I have explained over and over, in order to add players spaces need to be made in the squad and money needs to be raised.}

For me it's about improving the team and if we sold Barkley and brought in a siggurdson or a traore type of player I wouldn't think there would be too many complaints. He is no longer up and coming he should be established which unfortunately he isn't.
