As per eds and koemans comments, looks like we are in for an interesting week and a half. Can see a gk, cb, winger and striker coming in. Really like the look of ghezzal so hopefully he is the winger. Really don't know about the others but we seem to have a few irons in the fire.


Ed I know you recently posted the transfer updates about the strikers we are looking at, any chance you can give us an update for other positions?

{Ed002's Note - The interest is there in Hart but Sevilla are trying to sell there project to him and may be more attractive. Kone remains the centreback of choice. Lyon's Rachid Ghezzal was watched on several occasions last season by Arsenal's senior scout in France. PSG, West Ham, Everton and Stoke City have all spoken with Lyon about the player but they have no interest in selling. But if he does not renew his contract and a large enough offer were to be made, that might change. Stoke saw Ghezzal as a potential replacement for Arnautovic but he is now settled. Sunderland had an approach rejected by his agent and Lyon have rebuffed initial offers from Everton and West Ham. Everton has returned with an acceptable offer but now face the prospect of the kid thinking seriously about whether he wants to make a move from his comfortable life in South central France to the Northwest of England where there would be a significant cultural change. Late enquiries have also been made by Southampton and Lille. I suspect it'll drag out.}
