According to talksport we are preparing a 23 million bid for sporting Lisbon striker Islam slimani he as scored 22 goals in 34 matches he looks a quality striker but would prefer us to go for michy batshuayi he is a top class striker with lots of pace skill and scores lots of goals ed which one of the strikers would u go for.

{Ed025's Note - i was thinking about that duke, silimani and batshuayi seem like very good players to me but my knowledge of them is limited, i know this might be a bit left field but arnautovic of stoke looks a very good player to me mate..

Ed I think arnautovic good player but he is not exactly prolific ed if Rom leaves in the summer say for between 56-65 mil what do u think of the chances of us replacing him with both Slimani and michy batshuayi because Slimani has 23 mil realese clause in his contract and we should be able to buy michy batshuayi for 25-30 mil so in total you talking about 53 mil for both and u have 2 strikers who r prolific infront of goal.

{Ed025's Note - that would mean two massive wages duke, im not saying its got no chance but our wage structure may have to alter mate..

I've watched Slimani on 3 occasions this season and for me he looks bang average. Maybe he just had off days but I wouldn't like us to spend more than 10-15 mill on him. He looks like a Soldado mk2!

I rate arnautovic as well ed but I think he has signed a new contract.maybe I'm wrong.chances are we will buy some up and coming star and loan him back out to someone like henan or that Swiss kid

We have seen it all before, average players come to us and we make them look great, then they get the big head and think they are to good for our club, Love you Rom but we can replace anyone.
