It's also worth noting Barnsley have a 20% sell on clause for Stones. Even more of a reason not to sell him for a derisory 35m quid.

Press are openly reporting a 15% sell on fee but still a fair chunk. Even without it, Stones is worth whatever we're prepared to sell him for. Failing that they can do one.
If he's going, sooner rather than later would be good so we have time to invest. We should be giving them a deadline beyond which we wouldn't accept any offer at all
