You know what's going to happen don't you? we will sign nobody, fellaini will be sold uncle billy bullsh*t will slot the dough, and will trot out that aged old line money will be made available to Roberto in jan.It could be to late by then if the worse comes to the worse.Very worrying indeed

apparently the lads have had a tour around Alcatraz today, probably checking out new digs for barton.

jimmy

1.) Did you get this joke from all the comments on the pics on ?

2.) Not got to clue what that is mate, got the joke off my daughter, who I expect got it from somewhere. I thought it funny enough to pass on

Don't shoot the messenger lads, rumour from inside the club is that its not felli or baines who moyes wants to take to united, its coleman. Moyes has got his eyes on trying to lure him away apparently. I hope not seamus has come on leaps and bounds in the last season I can only see him getting better. And hopefully in the blue of everton.

jimmy

1.) Man utd have rafael and they just signed another young rb. show us the rumour.

BlueHaze

2.) Any posts with don't shoot the messenger, from a good source or heard from a mate should be taken with a pinch of salt.

3.) Sorry what I should of said was, apart from moyes maybe wanting felli or baines, the club are worried about moyes apparently eyeing coleman. that's the rumour from inside the club. only telling you what I've been told and yes it did come from someone inside the club.

4.) Never thought I'd say this but he'd be a huge loss, the boy's come on loads this year and is an important part of our squad. Could see this happening as Utd aren't exactly blessed in the right back position.
Dex

5.) Read blue hazes post!

6.) His normal position is right mid? He only played right back because hibbo was injured. Maybe he is looking to play him on the wing?

7.) He's natural position is right back Oscar, though he has been utilised on the right wing to iron out the mistakes in his game.

8.) Oscar he played at right mid because he was not defensively good enough to play at right back but he is definitely a right back and a good one at that!

9.) They've got Rafael and Smalling, Moyes needs to aim higher than take our players, I will seriously lose respect for him if he comes back for any of our players.

10.) But they just signed varela

11.) Ye I heard its a straight swap for Rooney!
Mr Blue Sky

Iwouldnt hold my breath lads, seeing as its Whelan as usual letting the cat out the bag, its been a week since he was on the telly or in the papers.

jimmy

1.) Did he happen to mention that he broke his leg at Wembley in 1960? I look forward to him telling that story every week.

Mike

2.) Or on the commode. lol (Wavertree Blue)

3.) Did he break his leg at Wembley? I wouldn't of known that, strange he hasn't ever mentioned it. The doddering arl T*T. Loves the sound of his own voice

4.) Any chance this is sabotage, as he said at the weekend he would take Roberto back if Everton falls through.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow. I hope the Martinez revolution keeps on rolling along nicely, and complacency doesn't start to creep in.The united and Arsenal games, and with our records over the years away to both teams being abysmal, we were seen as the underdogs in both games ie by the media, only to produce two performances especially at arsenal of the highest quality. With Fulhams dire league record at goodison I hope we don't take our feet off the gas allowing them to break that hold we have over them at home, seeing as everyone will be looking at them as underdogs. Hopefully Bobbys blue revolution can continue.

jimmy

1.) Me too. I think it could be a liitle more trickey than at first sight as Fulham need only fill the back line and try the break with Berbatov. Hoe our defence is up for this one. However, over the 90 mins we will secure a win. 2 or 3 Nil.

08 Dec 2013 19:28:18
Great performance from the lads today outplayed arsenal in first half.Second half 50 50.Even after arsenal scored I was so confident we would get back into the game, even when we did we had them rocking and could of snatched it.great substitution payed off again no negativity at all.I think up to now bobby is getting the luck we've not had for years with his positivity, culminating with giroud hitting the bar Martinez has that bit of lady luck smiling on him because he's so f**king positive.Would still love another top class forward a bit of an arl arse type in jan to keep us moving along nicely to take the burden off lukaku whos only a baby in terms of experience. great times being a blue this season long may it continue.Imperative we take maximum points at home over xmas to keep the run going and make the teams around us twitch.Maybe and its a big maybe the media may start taking us seriously instead of patronising us all the time.

jimmy

04 Dec 2013 22:28:17
That's how you win at old Trafford, not by going there "wanting to get out alive" as a certain person was quoted as saying. We rode our luck once or twice, but we didn't sit back and try to soak up the pressure as in previous times to be outdone by a last minute winner or two, we where positive going forward looking for a goal, if some of our decision making in the final third was a bit better we could of scored another couple of goals.Theres not a negative bone in bobbys body which is such a positive for the players and us fans.

jimmy

{Ed025's Note - im with you all the way there jimmy..

1.) Great post jimmy.i think under moyes we were the only team in the premier who went to the top four clubs hoping for a draw, when even newly promoted team went there hoping to get summit from the game.i was delighted with martinez appointment and am even more delighted now.lost only 1 game and are firinv on all cylinders. Over the blue moon

Dissapointed with the performance yesterday, no urgency at all.We seemed content to just keep possession . As the old saying goes "goals win games". The quality of service and delivery from the flanks wether from the two fullbacks or wide men was very poor, Bainsey I would just call that a blip, but mirallas, s form lately doesn't warrant a start imo.You can tell within the first 5 minutes what type of game you will get out of him.The lads got all the skill and pace to worry anyone maybe playing him behind the front man would bring the best out of him instead of being on the wing and being asked to track back and tackle, which is not his strong point.

jimmy

1.) Baines has been abysmal since Christmas. It's not just a blip. Coincidence since it was known moyes was going? He doesn't seem to be interested any more.

2.) 10 Nov 2013 14:33:56
Abysmal since christmas? Wow that is hilarious, have a sleep, wake up take a good hard look at yourself and laugh

Mike-Ox Long

3.) Nice one mike. When I seen that reply to my post I p*ssed laughing.I thought here is someone who hasn't got a clue and is not worthy of a reply. Thanks for putting him straight. Also I notice the said poster was nameless.

4.) I concur with the 'anonymous' poster. He's been very poor by his previous extremely high standards. May be abysmal is a bit strong but he's been pretty ordinary.
Something I disagree with though is anyone who dares to have an alternate opinion is immediately branded clueless and told to lie down and laugh at themselves. Football is a subjective game, you know?
Granville.

5.) Mike, I'd do the same if I were you, and I'd suggest you tried to grow up whilst you're at it. Your infantile retorts are getting tiresome.

6.) 10 Nov 2013 19:07:47
I understand granville and I meant to be harsh, he hasn't been great this season but even ordinary since christmas isn't fair mate, he got in the team of the year last season, if he was abysmal since christmas then every left back in the prem must of been absolutly awful from christmas onwards, I didn't brand him clueless once, he simply exagerrated how average baines has been this season which is why I exagerrated my reply and to my anonymous stalker who loves to say I am infantile, don't read my posts then, sign up and we can have a one v one little thing going on if you dislike me that much, quite frankly you seem to be 'throwing your toys out the pram' :)

Mike-Ox Long

7.) 10 Nov 2013 19:48:44
In fact granville, I now feel immensly cruel for my first reply to the lad who said baines has been crap since christmas, it was not nessasary or needed so apologies first replier, but I still don't think he has been below par from christmas onwards though

Mike-Ox Long

8.) Hey lads come on what's all this with the apologies? Everyone is free to speak there mind in this country. Unless someone personally attacks someone and personally insults them per se, a bit of banter which what it is, should not be perceived as a personal attack on someone.

9.) Not you Mike, re clueless comment, jimmy below said the poster 'hasn't got a clue' or words to that effect. No big deal, he just hasn't seemed the same player to me. It may be just me, who knows but he's knocked 2 corners behind in successive games, when has that happened before? Granted, that's very recent and not since Christmas but his consistency and body language has looked off. And aside from the free kicks this season, he's hardly put in a good cross. Maybe I'm expecting too much from him as he set the bar ridiculously high?
Granville.

10.) 10 Nov 2013 22:03:09
I think he is just waiting until january and then he will go but if not it could be down to our play style, under moyes it was cross whenever possible, under bobby it is cross when needed which isn't often, he seems to pass inwards to barry or mccarthy rather than cross it, but as for the crosses he has put in being poor I can't help you with that, you can't forget to cross overnight, but all in all I would put it down to him simply not being arsed anymore, I just pray I am wrong and this is just a dip in form

Mike-Ox Long

11.) For the record, I have nothing against Baines at all, in fact, if I could have a 'favourite' player at my age, at this moment in time, it would be him.
Granville. {Ed025's Note - baines has set a very high standard for himself granville, so when he has an average game it looks like he is under performiing..well thats my view..

07 Oct 2013 19:40:35
Just heard our former midfielder from the 70s Mick Buckley has sadly passed away aged 59.Used to like mick thought he was a half decent player, rip mick nsno. {Ed025's Note - very sad news that jimmy..

jimmy

1.) Remember watchin him Jimmy.tidy little player

RIP

stewillow

2.) Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see most of these old faces as I'm 16, so I've only ever seen players in the Moyes era/the Martinez era, but it's still extremely sad to hear about things like this.

It kind of brings me to the point that I don't care how bad a player is, so long as they give their all when wearing our shirt, they'll always get my respect in the future. Even Naisy will in the future. He may be too poor for the Prem, but he does his best and that is all that matters for me. If he gets picked he gets picked, it's his job.

I kind of rambled on a bit there, so let me stick to the point of this post. R.I.P Mick. #neverforgotton.

Keith EFC.

3.) Always put in a shift for the team.

RIP Mick.

4.) I remember him scoring 4 goals, and was fined by catterick for going out of his zone, great player . tom efc.

5.) I remember him scoring the winner and an away win at Southampton in the early 70's. A sad loss and so young

6.) Keith EFC - great post, but no need for the overuse of "kind of". Not being pompous grammar police, just suggesting your words (written or spoken) will be more powerful if you're less non-commital. Mick Buckley, legend, RIP.

7.) 09 Oct 2013 05:44:56
Come on poster who stated "over use of kind of"

Seriously mate, why would you even pick up on this

Good post that Keith and ignore his post mate

Degsybluenose

8.) I was being kind of pedantic, degsy.

9.) 10 Oct 2013 11:28:14
No, you were being pedantic

Watched that myself Martin, brought a smile to my face. You just can't fail to be impressed with RM every time you hear him talk, such a positive man who seems to radiate positivity. He comes across as the type of person who could make you believe it was dark when it was daylight.

Tend to agree, his form has dipped this season and as I said in a previous post you can tell within the first 5 mins what type of game mirallas is going to have. Also with the skill and turn of pace he has I would like to see him given a go playing behind the striker running at and turning centre backs instead of being out wide and being asked to track back and put in a tackle which is not his strong point as he's not the bravest of tacklers.

The city game imo rested on the no penalty decision when lakaku was thrown to the floor. At that stage the score was level, who knows Pegasus if we got that decision we may of ended up taking something from the game.Idont think they outplayed us really to be honest
