Roberto Mancini apparently wants Gareth Barry at Galatasaray in the Summer. Going to have to be quick if we want him permanently.

Manchester United fan here. Easy decision for Barry if that's case Everton all day long. Premier League Or Turkey? Come on.
2.) I agree mate
3.) Personally think he will go, seems to have realised his england times up so what's the point in playing here? he could earn more money abroad?
4.) Barry is getting on a bit, and he could be a flop abroad because he has been playing in England for such a long time. It would also decrease his England chances IMO
{Ed025's Note - I totally agree mike..

Everton have been given the green light to sign Aidan McGeady in January by Spartak Moscow. Can see this happening now Deulofeu is out for a couple of months.
1.) I told u all this in the summer for some reason Martinez rates this guy personally I think it will be a bad signing.
2.) I don't rate mcgeady one bit myself toffee, but if Martinez thinks he's good enough for us he will have my full support
3.) If RM thinks that a player will do a good job, then I'll support that player whatever my previous impressions of that player might have been. Just look at how many posters criticised the signings of Barry and McCarthy - both of whom have done really well for us. Factor in the loan signings of Lukaku and Deulofeu, the money raised from Fellaini and Anichebe, and RM's transfer dealings look good IMHO - notwithstanding Kone and Alcaraz who surely have not had much of a chance to prove themselves yet because of injuries.

Everton could move for Anderlecht striker Matias Suarez in January.
1.) Would that be the same player whose proposed transfer to CSKA Moscow didn't go through last year because he failed the medical? If it is, it doesn't sound too good don't you think?
BaronHardup
2.) Everton COULD move for anyone!
3.) He had a belter of a season a few seasons ago but not seen much off him since then, he did play with lukaku those might not be a bad punt if the price is right. What do you think eds?

4.) Suarez is out for the season with an ACL injury.
So I bloody hope we aren't getting him.

Apparently West Ham want Jelavic in January, possibly a loan deal as long as Roberto brings in a replacement. Personally I think he should be loaned out and see if he can regain his confidence. Best thing for the lad ahead of the WC.
1.) Definitely loan him out. If he finds some forms it'll help us recoup some of the 5 million we paid.

Heitinga in swap deal with Tadic of FC Twente, any truth in this ed?
{Ed025's Note - not that I have heard mike..

January OUT -
Heitinga - £3m
Jelavic - £5m
IN -
McGeady - £5m
M'Villa - £10m
Bruno Martins Indi - £7m
Agree Blues?
1.) No chance mvilla will come to us
2.) Why? He would easily come to us.
3.) Plus Fellani 27m and anichebe 6m
4.) I think we would struggle to get those fees for Heitinger and Jelavic right now.
Degsypulford
5.) Heitinga £1m at most, Mcgeady a big NO thanks, the other 2, yes please. I'd rather we took a punt on Tom Ince who will surely be available for significantly less than £5m since he will have only 6 months left on his contract, than Mcgeady the headless chicken
6.) McGeady is a good player and is decent backup, don't get all the stick he gets.

Brilliant 1st half showing last night but fell asleep at the back in the second half. In a CL spot, let's just hope we remain there. COYB

Great win, Lukaku and Baines world class and 4th in the league. Up the Toffees!
16 Sep 2013 19:24:14
Would anyone take Cedric from Real Betis? Looked really good last night against Valencia and gave us a tough time in pre season too.
1.) Caused us problems no end good player IMO
2.) 17 Sep 2013 03:30:04
yes a good game against us and one other team then we should buy him! should get richard cresswell, adam rooney and james collins too!, cedric is drenthe without skill or the powerful shot, bit of pace and that is it
3.) Ahh Cedric, the African winger who cost Betis under 2 Euros. That's 2 Euros, not 2 million Euros. Great story, definitely got some talent. Probably gunna cost a but more now!c
He's just signed a new contract
Barry is getting on a bit, and he could be a flop abroad because he has been playing in England for such a long time. It would also decrease his England chances IMO
{Ed025's Note - I totally agree mike..
Me thinks we're preparing for a big money move for Wayne Rooney.
I agree mate
Pienaar won't leave for at least another 2 or 3 years. Still has quality left in him.
Barkley, Hibbo, McAleny, Lundstram, Long and Browning were the only Evertonians I believe, but there maybe more.
McGeady is a good player and is decent backup, don't get all the stick he gets.
Why? He would easily come to us.
He'll be back for Hull, it was a tissue problem in the groin I think.
The Mancs are obsessed with our players.
