as usual ere lead to believe we have players lined up but like 6 months when fer was hold for felli possible departing we are yet again just setting up contingency plans, its every year this whether it be summer or jan, the board are woeful at doing anything its like they have conceded top 4 isn't a possibility so no point speculating

I would prefer martinez not to waste 14million on James McCarthy and instead go for Gareth Barry, Feranado and Marrone can't see it though as I think McCarthy is nearly a done deal.

can u imagine how lost defoe would be in our side. we need a striker who not only can score goals, but can link play together, which means he needs to be stongly built. Benteke or Lukaku esque. We play 1 forward man through the middle with two speedy winger style strikers either side of him. would you prefer to see this:

I agree with the second poster mate, Di Canio is a good fella and takes no crap so am guessing he is either a nob in the dressing room or not good enough, either way not good enough for us if he can't get in the mackems team
3.) It's cause he got caugh drink driving
4.) There best player last season, di canio isn't a good guy either, I used to think he was but he has a serious attitude problem he's bought a shed load of awful average players and thinks he knows best but there worse than last year
That would be interesting but not sure he would fit into the squad
