Utd lukin at luke shaw as they're givin up interest in baines, source tv app
COYB!

Been priced out as they can't go beyond £30-£35M. Uunless they sell they won't spend more than £40M in total this window. DM and the new chief exec have been told for this window that is all they have. Remember he has to prove he can handle the job, plus their board see the same sqaud that won the league intact so they aren't going to sanction more than that. Fergie struggled to get much more than £40M in any given transfer window so I cannot see DM getting more. Where was their bid for Bale or Ronaldo that we kept hearing about? MUFC will not pay that sort of money its always been the same. Just my thoughts on the matter.
2.) Seen that on the window watch on the tv app, hopefully true!

R we seriously thinkin bout sellin baines to utd?! what a msg that sends out, let sell our best players. great tactics.
1.) Nobody is talking about that. Stop causing a fuss over nothing.
2.) Leighton Baines is reported to be ready to sign a new deal at Everton if the Blues reject Manchester United’s next bid for his services.
The Mirror has claimed that United are ready to put together a final “take it or leave it†bid for the England left back of around £12m, a bid which will almost certainly be rejected by the Blues.
Baines will not push for a transfer away from Everton, and is more than happy to stay at Goodison Park and continue to raise awareness that it’s not just the “Sky Four†players who deserve a chance to go to a World Cup.
Should Baines sign an extended deal at Everton, many Blues will think he has become the most important signing of Roberto Martinez‘s short time at the club.

Baines and fellaini will not b sold to UTD
Source: roberto martinezs mouth.
1.) Martinez:
"If someone matches the valuation then you have to make a decision but that's not been the case."
Why did he not say they are not for sale at any price? That's right - because they are!
Everton fans have been so 'offended' by United's bid but it strikes me that they are just worried about losing their best players.
Let the guys at the top sort out the business side of things etc. but let's just say, you should prepare for the worst!

2.) Every player is available for thr right price. If a team offered £50m+ for Percy, would you reject it? No.

Lads ins or outs doesn't matter, we are everton, mighty everton, get behind OUR club and support whoever comes in and if people leave then so be it. NO1 is bigger than our club.
ETID!
1.) The best post I have read for ages
mj
2.) Thats all good but if we lose are 2 best players and don't replace them them you won't be so optimistic
3.) Good post. And to the negative guy if we sold both of them (we won't) we'd replace them otherwise Martinez would probably walk
4.) The to deadline day the harder and more expensive it gets to replace, I have supported everton to know that we could easily accept on transfer day and be bamboozled
5.) 22 Aug 2013 12:19:04
if we don't have a replacement lined up if any sale goes through for baines or felli, we don't have to sell! if push came to shove and it was the last minute of transfer day and man u offered £60 Mill for the pair, do you think we would say 1) yes, but then save the money til january transfer window, or 2) Tell man u to get stuffed because we have no replacement. I'd prefer us to go with the latter, but £60Mill would be hard to turn down. Either way the ball is in our court. CraigHuytonBlue
