Moyes to Villa? highly unlikely but who knows where Football and money is concerned.

Will the club hold firm and tell the Manc's where to go re Rodwell, or will it be a case of - "if Manchester United come calling you can't say no" . . crap, just like Rooney.

Kenwright says the club has made Pienaar a tremendous offer to stay . . will it be "tremendous" enough to ward off Spurs overtures? the lure of Champions League may be too much to resist?

Everton Rumours
Rodwell will not leave everton he has just sogned a new contract this summer! but pienaar will leave for spurs apparantly a striker will be arriving and it may well be djibril cisse who has apparantly been spotted in liverpool but if the pienaar deal brings in decent money then donovan could come in if tottenham had got fabiano then pienaar may have been swapped for robbie keane, everton also are expected to try and sign a winger as a replacement for pienaar a left back on loan as cover for baines but it certainly does seem that pienaar will leave possibly followed out the door by moyes as odds do not drop so much unless something suggests he will go to villa and everton will try and rush through deals for a winger and a striker if pienaar leaves or just a striker if he stays and if theres time a left back will come in possibly armand troare though that's not the priority at the moment but although it all seemed quiet at goodison it seems there could be a lot of action there tommorow with targets being david bentley, landon donovan, djibril cisse, armand traore, carlton cole, santa cruz, matt taylor and steven taylor. its looking though it could be busy up at goodison but if pienaar does not leave then only expect one new face if that.

Moyes said that he would not be signing anyone else however it now seems that he will try and sign at least one more player after the bad start to the season armand traore is a rumoured loan target to cover at left back though birmingham and juventus have already enquired about him. moyes is in the market for a bargain deal on a striker before tommorow and some targets are hatem ben arfa landon donovan carlton cole roque santa cruz and peter crouch. everton often do business quietly
so all though there doesn't seem to anything going on it still could be possible that one deal is being squeezed through and there could possibly be a move for david bentley

Moyes still lookin to bring in Marat Izmailov from Sportin for approx £5m also lookin to bring in a left back on loan.

A take over of the club is non existance, Everton borrowed £14m last week paid £9m back to the bank and the other £5m is to pay in our increased wage bill.

But all in all if Saha can play to his best i think Everton could have a very good season

I said about the crouch story yesterday though i thought that yakubu money may have to be involved but what seems to be happening is pienaar may go in a swap deal for crouch this will mean that a striker can leave probably yakubu or vaughan to free up cash to sign a replacement for pienaar

I'd rather we kept the Yak, who is a proven goal scorer in the premiership and sold Beckford, who looks every inch a lower league player. I look at Beckford and I think James Beattie; enough said. Crouch! ! We will end up playing a long ball game again.

Big Dave here again, spent the day around Goodison, Finch Farm. Unfortuanatley there is no no new transfer news. However ive been told the some "youngsters" wil be given a chance on wednesday night against. I expect it to be the usual-

First of all remy has signed for marseille so that's a no go, moyes made and offer for bellamy but man city would not let him go to a rival challenging for top four. i always expect moyes to pull something out of the bag on deadline day such as heitinga last year and fellaini the year before but this year its not likely to be a big money deal but hopefully there will be at least one more deal before next tuesday the most recent thing i have heard is tuncay from stoke but i doubt it this could all change however if yakubu leaves crouch has been mentioned as a replacement but this only if we get the money we want for the yak otherwise theres unlikely to be any major ins or outs i think the ismailov rumour is probably just a wild guess from a newspaper. as for the starting line up i would play

howard
coleman/neville jags johnny baines
arteta fellaini rodwell pienaar
cahill
beckford

you heard any transfer news ed ?

Editor Comments: looks a strong line up. i really rate coleman and hope he gets a good run in the first team. as for the rumours, i hear everton have restructured thier loans to help pay the improved deals handed out this summer. i doubt any of the funds freed up will be put into the kitty so unless yakubu goes, i think thats it for the blues.

Lets get one thing straight, It is highly unlikely that Everton will be making any more signings, unless the Yak or Yobo are sold. If we presume they will not be sold, then Moyes needs to sort out his best 11.

Howard
Coleman Heitinga Jagielka Baines
Arteta Rodwell Fellaini Pienarr
Cahill
Beckford

GK-
Although he made a mistake in the first game, and seemed to have lost his confidence in the second game, Howard should always be first choice in my opinion.

RB-
Neville is getting old, and Hibbert just hasnt impressed enough over the years. Ive always said we could do with a new right back, but because we are making no more signings, then pehaps it is time to give Coleman a chance to prove his worth.

CB-
Phil Jagielka, enough said.

CB-
Heitinga should be played there, it is his best position in my opinion, him and Jagielka were solid in the second half of last season.

LB-
Baines is first choice, and a good first choice. We don't have a spare Left back anyway. He also has a great partnership with peinarr

CM-
I think Rodwell deserves a run in the team, he has proved he can attack and defend, whilst possesing a great engine.

CM-
Fellaini showed just how good he is before being injured last season, he is better playing more defensive, and is a great rock in our midfield. By playing Rodwell and Fellaini, means that arteta may have to be moved out to the wing. Which is not a bad thing in my opinion.

RM-
Although arteta, has proved that center mid may be his best position, i feel weve lost a bit of creativity from are wings, so moving arteta out to the wing, may not be a bad thing. (you will all probly disagree with this)

LM-
Peinarr was our player of the season last year, and had a great understanding with Baines, so lets hope he gets a new contract signed, and finds his form from last season.

CAM-
Tim Cahill isn't the greatest footballer Everton have ever had, but he is always a threat. He is one of those players who will allows nick a goal off a set piece or making runs into the box.

ST-
On his day Yakaubu is a quality goal scorer, and when fit, Saha is a great centre forward. BUt unfortunatley, Saha isn't fit very often, and Yakubu hasnt found his best form since returning from injury. SO pehaps we should give Beckford a run in the team, so he can prove just how good he can be for us.

So who agrees? and who disagrees?

One thing is fact when it comes to Everton transfers. No one on here or in the press will know anything about it until it happens.

As usual, they will probably bring in one reasonably big signing (10 - 15 million) right at the death and the rest will be the four or five usual low cost, loans or frees (which are already done).

Great site though guys. Keep up the good work.

No transfers because no money 14million loan to pay off 9 million debt and this seasons buys and increased wages bill for Arteta, Rodwell, Baines & Cahill.
Arteta could play for England if he continues to play as he has in the first 2 games he certainly reminds me more of an English International than a Spanish one

so before you go post stupid and made up rumours at least do a little research so that you look a little bit creditable and sont look like the complete morons that you are.

I have been secretly supporting the blue half of merseyside for a few years now. For me their a much better team to support than the reds.

Anyway back to the football views. .

Selling the yak and yobo would be ideal, so that we could sign a top quality striker, or a winger with pace, so that he can take on full back and get the crosses in. Everton have been to dependent on the full backs making the overlaping runs, to get in the crosses.

The russian guy from sporting has been mentions, but I am unsure wether this will happen. Anyone with a bit of quality and pace would be welcomed. (I'm gutted we missed out on bellamy)

I would also consider selling peinarr if he wants to leave. We might as well get a bit of money for him now whilst he is still worth something.

Finally, I think moyes needs to find a settled best 11, to fit into our best formation (4 4 1 1). Billy has been given enough chances, and unfortunatley hasnt impressed.

What do you fellow Evertonians think of my views??

BIG ROB

Pienaar: No bids to date, only interest this window is from Spurs and that has been conducted by Rednapp through the media. Club are very confident that a new deal will be signed.
Rodwell: Not going anywhere in the foreseeable. Contrary to a previous rumour there is no break clause after two years in his contract. Man Utd have asked to be kept informed if Everton decide to sell in the future. This is normal practice and does not guarantee than Man Utd have first option.
Vaughan, Anichebe and either Yak or Saha will be sold if any bids are received. Expect two strikers to come in. Everton have made bids for at least 6 top strikers including Crouch, Keane and Remy, but now running out of options. Money will be available for the right player, expected to be around the £15m mark, even if no one moves out.

I am not a everton fan, but however i have some interesting news for you.

The yak will be gone, with west ham buying him for 4 million.

Moyes will then look to Roque Santa Cruz or Roman pavylchenko, on loan with a view to buy

Also being linked is shaun wright-phillips either for 5 million or again a loan deal

ismailov will be brought in for a fee of 4 million.

Moyes however did make bids for moutinho and bellamy, but missed out on both :(

And if you know your history. Coyb

It is very evident that the Yak will be sold with David Moyes only getting abt £4 million as Yak is not the same player since his injury. Expect a loan deal for a striker, probably Remy, before the transfer deadline.

Rodwell will not be leaving Everton for at least two years, when he does - Manchester United will be his destination. . but he won't be cheap.

People from Everton have claimed Rodwell signed his new deal with them after SAF made it clear he wouldn't be moving for him yet.
This boy is going to be as big as Rooney/Gerrard.
