CP

Believable17 Unbelievable7

No it doesn't. He says he's happy now and is focused on the season, not he will stay after next summer.

Agree1 Disagree1

The site is not him its a fan page,

Agree1 Disagree0

It doesn't say he isn't leaving, it is not correcting anything thats false, he's just said "he was surprised to read it". i'm not sure why he was surprised. if it wasn't what he said he should've denied it and put it to bed but he hasn't.

Agree1 Disagree0

He is just covering up know. He is pushing for a move with saying that. But he had to come out and make a bad attempt at quashing it. He says he still wants to play for everton this season. But what about after that

Anybody heard anything about Fellaini wanting to leave? Eds? Apparently he told a Flemish newspaper. Hope this is just crap journalism!

T14 {Ed025's Note - It is mate..

Believable4 Unbelievable7

You keep telling yourself that, ed025!! ;-) {Ed025's Note - I will mate, as I have a deep rooted mistrust of the press..

Agree0 Disagree0

You can look up the news paper on google which wil translate the storey, to me it looked like bits of an old interview rehashed to make a sensational story. it looks to me that i was coming out just before he signed his contract.
why would he say it right after the window shut? it does not make sense plus he was influencial in singing mirallass. I dont think its true.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed you sound like you don't trust the press, are you a ex player ,Moseley hill, cedar close,....you were right on baines staying I'll give you that, and your never get to flusted when these stories are printed........tristen {Ed025's Note - I just hate press speculation tris..most of them make up stories to stir the pot, when the guy is questioned by someone credible, I will believe it mate, until then it's just talk..

Agree0 Disagree0

When ever he is at home, he says what his dad wants to hear, and, as soon as we get him back on the resevation, it all goes away. {Ed025's Note - Press speak with forked tongue..

Agree1 Disagree0

I cant believe some of you are naive enough to believe we can hang on to offer worldclass players. With our current financial position we cannot offer these players even half the wages they can get at say Madrid, Barca, PSG or Man City. Not to mention the fact they can win things at those clubs, whereas with us they wont.
Until we get a billionaire, players will always leave us. {Ed025's Note - Look!..there are realistic comments.and negative ones, yours my friend is definitely the latter!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said Ed

Agree1 Disagree1

His Belgium Team mate Kevin turned down Arsenal to be with us. Says it all.

"I begin now to my fifth season at Everton," Fellaini told Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad. "This will be one of my last. I've seen everything. In January or at the end of the season I would look for another club or league."

No doubt it we will be fobbed off as a 'lost in translation' case but these rumours don't go away. If Felli does go we need to get the best possible price. We have seen what a good job Moyes can do with a bit of cash.

Everton have to sell our better players to make signings, most clubs are the same. There a very few cubs in Europe who can spend the kind of money that we need to get to the next level.

Nostrawigus

Believable6 Unbelievable8

Total and utter bollox, Nostra you my friend are talking out of your backside

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm afraid Nostrawigus is only passing on info from the ssn website. If this is true then sell him abroad, get maximum profit from flogging him and then give DM the cash to work his magic. We are in the driving seat as he has not long signed a long term deal,I wouldn't let him leave unless we get 40m for him. Imagine what could be done with that cash.

Agree0 Disagree0

Arsenal, who are miles ahead of us, are a selling club.

NWS

Agree0 Disagree0

If he wants to go good luck to him but don't go blaming the board ether we have never sold anyone who didn't want to go with the exception of Rodwel sell him get the lad from Club Bruges in in Jan

Agree1 Disagree0

I don't think we can be too surprised about this as, let's face facts, this guy would get in any starting XI in the world and could earn top dollar wherever he went and challenge for the important trophies every season. Unless we get Champions League this season I'm afraid we will probably lose him. Sad but true. And we will obviously get big bucks for him.

Agree1 Disagree1

If this is actually what he said word for word, I'm curious as to why he would pen a new long term contract 9 months or so ago as surely he'd be in a much stronger bargaining position if he let his contract run down. As it is we have the upper hand and should milk it for what he's actually worth which is at least double the initial £15m outlay

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently there is a 26m valuation clause, does this mean if anyone matches that valuation we have to let Fellaini speak to them or can we turn it down.

Agree1 Disagree0

We all no deep down hes gonna leave us soon anyway {Ed025's Note - Do we?..

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed025, I admire your optimism and positivity mate but c'mon surely you can see that we're not contenders for anything other than a league or FA cup and Felli has ambition and the ability to play anywhere in the world and command huge wages and win all the trophies any footballer would want. Point taken that you distrust the media/press because they are sensation seeking parasites but you couldn't begrudge a player of his talent the opportunity to win major honours and he's not going to win them with us. I'd be devastated to lose him but it's gonna happen sooner rather than later I'm afraid. I don't want to believe this 'alleged' story but I can't say it would surprise me at all. Most players aspire to win honours and Fellaini is no different. {Ed025's Note - I can hear what your saying mate, and I'm not saying he will stay long term..what I am saying, is that the press make up things to incite fans,

Agree1 Disagree0

Yea I get you and they're bang out of order to incite fans but like I said parasites. Anything to sell a newspaper and get their so called 'exclusive' but like you also said let's hear it from a credible source or even better from the horse's mouth (and I don't mean andy carroll) first to see if it IS true

Agree1 Disagree0

Has any one read the full article? An nit the reports onthe article. It's a rehash of and old interveiw passed off as a recent one. Felliani did make noises about moving when he was in talks about a new contract which is where they took it from. Every interview I have seen with the big man so far this season have all been highly positive.

If you want to read the full article google will translate it for you.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hate it when players come out and say its all bollock. No smoke without fire, i think fellaini will leave in the summer if we dont get european football
Cheeks

Agree1 Disagree0

Looks like you were right ed025 to be cynical of media speculation surrounding this fiasco but I think 'smoke' and 'fire' springs to mind here.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we can agree a fee for a player whilst the window's shut right? could we agree a deal for Ofoe and then just sign him in January? {Ed007's Note - Yes the details can all be agreed at any time it is is just nothing official can be done.}

Believable7 Unbelievable2

Wasnt the loan agreed with an option to buy agreed. so the agreement is there. just need to wait for the next window

Agree1 Disagree0

There might be some sort of appeal yet ?

If this is true about felli and he's genuinely being that blunt about his future then I'd start eyeing a replacement NOW! The second the window opens, start negotiating HARD! If he wants his way, we want ridiculous money for him. Enough to fund 2 top players and some left over. About time we start negotiation like mr levy at spurs. HARDBALL

Apparently we are looking at palaceos from stoke after failing to land odjidja ofoe. What do we think? {Ed025's Note - The window is shut mate..and January is a long way off..

Believable0 Unbelievable14

Heard he was getting released by stoke ed? {Ed001's Note - even if released, he can't join a team in the Prem until the next transfer window. He would have needed to be released prior to the close of the transfer window, in order to be eligible to join as a free agent before the next transfer window opens.}

Agree1 Disagree1

I thought free agents could be signed at any time? {Ed001's Note - only if they have been released prior to the closing of the previous transfer window. Then only up until the beginning of November, the window for free agents shuts then.}

Agree1 Disagree0

He is not being released, He is been let out on loan. So a championship club or a different country is his choice, we are not an option on till January.
