No it doesn't. He says he's happy now and is focused on the season, not he will stay after next summer.

The site is not him its a fan page,

It doesn't say he isn't leaving, it is not correcting anything thats false, he's just said "he was surprised to read it". i'm not sure why he was surprised. if it wasn't what he said he should've denied it and put it to bed but he hasn't.

He is just covering up know. He is pushing for a move with saying that. But he had to come out and make a bad attempt at quashing it. He says he still wants to play for everton this season. But what about after that

No doubt it we will be fobbed off as a 'lost in translation' case but these rumours don't go away. If Felli does go we need to get the best possible price. We have seen what a good job Moyes can do with a bit of cash.

Everton have to sell our better players to make signings, most clubs are the same. There a very few cubs in Europe who can spend the kind of money that we need to get to the next level.

I don't think we can be too surprised about this as, let's face facts, this guy would get in any starting XI in the world and could earn top dollar wherever he went and challenge for the important trophies every season. Unless we get Champions League this season I'm afraid we will probably lose him. Sad but true. And we will obviously get big bucks for him.

If this is actually what he said word for word, I'm curious as to why he would pen a new long term contract 9 months or so ago as surely he'd be in a much stronger bargaining position if he let his contract run down. As it is we have the upper hand and should milk it for what he's actually worth which is at least double the initial £15m outlay

Apparently there is a 26m valuation clause, does this mean if anyone matches that valuation we have to let Fellaini speak to them or can we turn it down.

Ed025, I admire your optimism and positivity mate but c'mon surely you can see that we're not contenders for anything other than a league or FA cup and Felli has ambition and the ability to play anywhere in the world and command huge wages and win all the trophies any footballer would want. Point taken that you distrust the media/press because they are sensation seeking parasites but you couldn't begrudge a player of his talent the opportunity to win major honours and he's not going to win them with us. I'd be devastated to lose him but it's gonna happen sooner rather than later I'm afraid. I don't want to believe this 'alleged' story but I can't say it would surprise me at all. Yea I get you and they're bang out of order to incite fans but like I said parasites. Has any one read the full article? An nit the reports onthe article. It's a rehash of and old interveiw passed off as a recent one. Felliani did make noises about moving when he was in talks about a new contract which is where they took it from. Every interview I have seen with the big man so far this season have all been highly positive.

If this is true about felli and he's genuinely being that blunt about his future then I'd start eyeing a replacement NOW! The second the window opens, start negotiating HARD! If he wants his way, we want ridiculous money for him. Enough to fund 2 top players and some left over. About time we start negotiation like mr levy at spurs. HARDBALL
