Steven Piener not happy at Tottenham, has several options, it all could happen very quickly, maybe even by the weekend, another EPL club or Spain.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree0 Disagree0

Pineaar was great for us, he hasn't really fitted in at spurs

Agree0 Disagree0

Yobo says his goodbyes
Nigerian clears his locker and heads home
Perhaps this should be a Rumour Mill item rather than a ToffeeWeb headline... However, given the the state of the squad with less than a week before the season starts, and the obvious need to retain players who are currently under contract, it is a serious concern to learn that Joseph Yobo has apparently emptied his locker at Finch Farm, said his goodbyes, and headed back home to Nigeria. Yobo, who has failed to appear in any of Everton's pre-season games, spent the whole of last season on loan at Fenerbahçe but saw a permanent deal collapse as collateral damage from the match-fixing scandal in Turkey. We patiently await any official word from the club...

Believable14 Unbelievable4

It's bollo@ks he is the Nigerian captain, in case you hadn't noticed there are about 40 international friendlies tomorrow, Nigeria play in one of them. Well there is one less now as England is cancelled but that is a good thing, no injuries for Jags or Baines

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree, loada crap. He's under contract FFS Y would he be allowed to go back to Nigeria with the start of the season so close? Idiots on this site are really starting to pee me off

Agree0 Disagree0

Would not be going back to Nigeria anyway the friendly was in Watford before it got cancelled

Everton are looking to sign upto four players before the end of August:
-Experienced Morten Moldskred is holding talks with David Moyes and could be signed on a one year deal before the season starts next week from Rosenborg.
-David Moyes wants to bring in Anthony Stokes from Celtic but has been told by Neil Lennon he must stump up over £4 million for the Republic of Ireland striker.
-Conor Thomas, who had a little loan spell with the Liverpool reserves last season is wanted by David Moyes on a full time basis and could join from Coventry over the next week. He will be made available for a loan deal until next summer.
-24 year old goalkeeper is in talks with Ben Smith from Shrewsbury as Moyes wants more competition for his keeper options.

Anichebe subject of a £3million bid from Leicester, but Moyes is likely to reject as he rates the Nigerian highly.

Believable13 Unbelievable7

Its so sad if we reject, wven to get him off the wage bill will be a step forward, why dont we go a step further and offer then a 8m triple deal with yak and yobo included? {Ed025's Note - everybody knows about our plight, and are looking to take advantage, they see that we are desperate and are waiting to get them on the cheap,,,or free..

Agree0 Disagree0

Will drive him for the medical myself for 3m {Ed025's Note - i would carry him in a sedan chair..

Agree0 Disagree0

Sell him Only if we are able to get someone in otherwise were another man down in a already small squad

Agree0 Disagree0

Was that we have to pay them £3m to take him?

Agree0 Disagree0

As much as it pains me to say, we cant let him go for 3mil, I mean he can "play" as a striker or a winger, and for 3mil we cant really afford to replace him in the squad with quality

Agree0 Disagree0

Rates him highly, he's awful. Take the money and use for at least a loan signing {Ed025's Note - dead right..

Agree0 Disagree0

We can get somebody like SWP, and with vic off the wage bill, we might even be able to afford his wages

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll drive him there myself. How about a straight swap with Andy King?

Agree0 Disagree0

The only reason Moyes dosen't want to sell him is because he won't have enough players for that position in his squad {Ed025's Note - throw a kid in then!...someone who wants to play for the team..

Agree0 Disagree0

Striker haha when did he last score and I dont mean a friendly in the States {Ed025's Note - your right mate..

According to the DAILY FAIL, Sven Goran Eriksson is set to offer £3m for Victor Anichebe.

I think it may be a misprint and is meant to read £3.
