According to caught offside 'Arsenal are ready to swoop for Nikica Jelavic in January' this is BS right ed?

ToffeeMike {Ed001's Note - it is caught offside! A bunch of kids making up stories in return for a free shirt.}

Why would he play for a team that will finish below us

Nice one Degs

Although it's that website, 'caught offside', as they say there's no smoke without fire and I wouldn't be surprised if a bid was made, cos that Giroud doesn't exactly look too good at the moment, he couldn't hit a barn door... Whether we'll sell though is a different story {Ed001's Note - there is plenty of smoke without fire about, there are hundreds of stories that are made up out of thin air, simply because someone either dislikes a player or likes a player. When they dislike them, they will make up rumours about them going to a rival. When they like them, they make up stories about them coming to their team.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok Ed001 get your point. What I meant was, and perhaps I should have articulated it better, that they would like him in their team at the moment cos Giroud looks like a slug {Ed001's Note - I am sure they would, but right now they are not looking at him.}

If you read on the everton website about Vadis, it says they are going to explore all options... We had the backing from the FA and premier league, so I think we should challenge it................

Is there an option to appeal ?

If the paperwork was submitted prior to the deadline, there will be an audit trail/proof in existence. BlueTone

The problem wasnt at Evrton end it was Brugge who didnt complete the paperwork on time, therefore the deal is void. Thats what happens when you leave things too late, plus Vadis was third choice behind Essien and N"Zonzi, I think will survive

I know by are standards we've had a great start and a good transfer window, but if we were to late for this belgian lad, then you can't blame fifa we've had 3 months to sign him why leave it so late, someone at efc should have had this ready to go so there would be no problems, what's the odds now other clubs take notice of this ofoe now and we miss out, let's hope we can appeal cos I think were light in the middle of the park if gibbo is out.

According to the web site we did get it in on time thats why the fa and premier league are backing us

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe it is to do with him only becoming available at the last minute,I read somewhere that he was in talks with one or two clubs about permanent transfer but they broke down. EFC had both our FA and the Belgian FA agreeing that the paper work was put in on time so this is purely down to the corrupt powers that be at FIFA. I think it's a case of watch this space,due to the two national bodies backing our loan attempt,then I would expect some kind of appeal to be lodged this week. Don't give up on it just yet

Its ok efc saying that but we still didnt get him all im saying is why not do it the day before or the week before, then we wouldnt be having any discussion

Apparently the problem was club brugges not meeting the deadline with their paperwork, therefore not everton's fault, not fifa's fault

Agree0 Disagree1

I wish people would find out the facts before saying it was our fault. It's was Bruges fault mate. That just another reason to slag us off

Agree0 Disagree0

Have you also thought that this lad was not even Daveys 3rd or 4th choice, I reckon Nzoni permanent, Essien loan, and someone else all fell throughout before he went in for Vadis. With that in mind you can't just have paperwork ready for every player in the world in case Moyes decides at the last minute to sign them.

Svenny {Ed025's Note - I agree svenny..

Stoke will probably make a move they do for everyone else are linked with
