Demba Ba has a secret release clause of less that 7m. 4 clubs are interested in him; Liverpool, Sunderland, QPR and Everton! Hes not on big money at newcastle and hopefully those other 3 clubs will be wound up in other targets that we can snatch him. He said he likes the club and wants to join last summer, he even shook moyes's hand if it werent for some last minute signing on fee cock ups by kenwright. Anyway it probably wont happen but i cant think of a player that we need more!

Believable6 Unbelievable13

Hes quality if only we had signeed him in the summer
Toffeeboy

Agree4 Disagree1

Would be great but can't see it happening at all...hmph

Agree6 Disagree1

Not a chance of Demba joining im afraid, and why would he anyway it would be a backward step.

Agree7 Disagree5

His release clause is 11m

Agree3 Disagree2

See this is how you do business, pay 7m for a player you could have had for free in the summer. No suprise we're in financial meltdown at the moment.

Agree13 Disagree1

Not.
A.
Chance.

Agree9 Disagree0

Not very secret is it, we couldnt afford his wages before so what makes you think we can afford it now

Agree7 Disagree1

It's not exactly secret now is it?

UH OH just heard QPR are gunning for David moyes now they got rid of warnock.........

Believable22 Unbelievable24

Please let this be true
Markyg

Agree12 Disagree25

Does he need help packing, or perhaps a lift to the station ?

Agree13 Disagree22

I will drive him there............g

Agree10 Disagree22

Let him get a taxi!

Agree5 Disagree20

Who do we get then Warnock. Cop on lads Moyes is doing the best he can with what he has.

Agree30 Disagree9

You lot have lost the plot never mind Moyes. He is facing a total rebuild, like the one when he joined the club. And who would seriously replace him??. A few people said O'neill before he went Sunderland. In my opinion he would be the worst manager we could ever wish for, always jumps ship when there is no money or when things get abit tough. {Ed025's Note - i agree with the o,neill shout

Agree20 Disagree2

Well theres Martinez,Clark,Lambert all good managers and maybe if we nicked Clark we might get Rhodes with our imaginary money lol
Toffeeboy

Agree2 Disagree9

Oh my god you call your selves loyal fans all I read you slag our great club off now u turn to Moyes yes his tactics ain't great at the moment but with no money what else can he do there is no magic wand in Moyes we trust if this rumour of prince take over is true Moyes will be the man we want to take the club to the top FACT come on we sound like kopites {Ed025's Note - we will never sound like them!...

Agree17 Disagree2

Stone the crows maties, lets keep it together! The Manager was (and is) hailed as the brightest we ever had and that's not too long ago. Some of the players on the pitch have not performed, not all the fault of the manager now is it? We all knew last July that this season would be difficult and 11th at the halfway stage is because of the manager. not despite of him. So lay off the guys back and loom to where the problem has a cause -The lack of funds to strengthen and expand a small sized squad.

Agree17 Disagree2

I dont believe what inane people you get on here...now its moyes that the hate gang are slagging off...the mans a miricle worker with no money...

Agree18 Disagree5

Moyes is a rubbish manager who belongs in the 1980s with his boring and negative football, and to all of you who use lack of funds as an excuse Swansea don't have a lot of money, but you don't see them hoofing the ball everywhere.

Agree7 Disagree19

DISAGREE with the moyes is a rubbish manager!! swansea got promoted and had money from doing so, Kenwright has done a good job which some seem to forget, moyes could of gone ages ago but he hasnt, he knows what sort of club we are thats why hes still here, we have a good group of young players who need time, dont get me wrong i want investment too, but im more than happy for moyes to stay...anyways who else is out there?....GOW1N15 {Ed025's Note - i dont think he is a rubbish manager... i just think his time with us may be over, he seems to have lost the hunger and passion that he used to have, not having money to spend may have ground him down! but accepting that bolton outplayed us, like he did, leaves me to think that the passion has gone..

Agree9 Disagree5

I'm not anti moyes but just because of our financial situation at the club doesn't mean that moyes can't be criticised. He's made mistakes, that's a fact.

Agree5 Disagree3

Ed i agree with you mate on the no money is grounding him down, i do think he still has the passion, still wearing trackies, still stood in the managers box, still tells his players werent good enough, but i dont see him winging about money and causing problems like O'neil and O'leary did at villa...we dont need people like that, just a little more belief in moyes until we get rid of Kenwright...i also believe Steve ROund is a big problem, ever since he got there our start to a season is shocking...id bring in irvine again DEFO!!! IMWT,COYB {Ed025's Note - i agree on the round issue mate...he really needs to go!...moyes and BK will not have a bad word spoken about each other, and the words.."thick as thieves" comes to mind..

Agree6 Disagree0

Teams always reflect the manger, so playing 6 defenders at home against Bolton, conceding 2 and only managing a goal through our goalkeeper isn't what I call miracle working {Ed025's Note - me neither..

Agree4 Disagree1

The thing is we have always played the same tactics! We have always had 4 at the back 2 defensive mid, 3 wingers/ attacking mids, and 1 striker. The difference is we haven't got a playmaker and we haven't got a clincal goalscorer!

Take Saturday for example, throughout the game we had Vic, Gueye, McFadden, Denis, Landon- all strikers play a part and they didn't score a goal between them! They all should have scored, and showed us that they were hungry, and none of them did apart from Landon!

Agree4 Disagree1

WAT WERE PLAYING THS SEASON IS...ANTI-FOOTBALL...AND THE FANS ARE VOTING WITH THERE FEET.and thats down to moyes ,av heard hom give stick to one player this season and it was drenthe for not getting back and defend WEVE GOT ENOUGH BLOODY DEFENDERS ON THE PITCH LEAVE HIM ALONE if moyes could get away with it he would play 10 defenders.footba is all about cycles and moyes has reached the end of his....remeber even the great howard kendall got sacked.........g

Agree4 Disagree3

I think Moyse would put 2 goal keepers inbetween the sticks if he had a chance...

Agree2 Disagree2

Listen we all no hes worked wonders for the majority of the time but lately his body language and his negativity has spread to the fans were all cheesed off and looking for somebody to blame and the buck stops with the gaffer ,i would hate him to outstay his welcome and spoil the memorys of the good times theres no sentiment in football you have to be ruthless.his judgement in the transfer market when he has had funds was iffy the 9 mill on billy would have been better spent elsewere on up and coming players in the lower leagues you could have picked up victor moses scott sinclair wayne routlidge nathan dywer and still had change .am not saying these players are world beaters but they would of added the much needed flair and speed wich we badly lack.............g {Ed025's Note - nice post ..g

Agree4 Disagree1

Moyes is the last person we need leaving at the moment as he appears to be the only one holding the club together. I think we need to concentrate on the board rather than turning on Moyes who has been a loyal servant for all these years

graz {Ed025's Note - but does BK pick the team graz...NO...does he dictate the formation and style of play?..NO..is it his job to motivate the players...NO....the board are crap..but not the only problem!..

Agree3 Disagree0

Slagging moyes off you should all be ashamed of yourselves. He is the best man for the job FACT {Ed025's Note - its all about opinions mate..

Agree3 Disagree0

To the quote about him getting a taxi, mate...i dont even think he can afford one

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be better off with paul lambert or brendan rodgers! oh and an owner of the club with a few quid like, for a change.

Im in Dubai watching AD Sports and alwaleed is the talk/he will buy EVERTON FC by the end of this month...Rooney is top of the list, bale and defoe are aswell {Ed025's Note - BS rating...8.9

Believable6 Unbelievable23

Is this sports channel realiable, and if so is there any footage of it?

Agree5 Disagree2

Total b****cks ..try it again in the next transfer window ...no buyers and no hope ...Kenwright is losing his marbles and Our glorious club is sinking fast!
Markyg

Agree15 Disagree5

Please can someone tell me were everyones getting this info from and is it really true coz am getting dead excited please b true please ps we dont want rooney bak he kissed that dirty red badge at goodison tut tut

Agree8 Disagree3

This AD Sports is like our SKY....they love Prem football, infact its bigger in the middle east than it is at home lol....if he buys Everton then they will dictate who we buy and moyes wont be able to stop it..ive even seen banners outside peoples homes woth NIL SATIS NISI OPTIMUM...now ya dont get that at home eh lol

Agree6 Disagree3

Righto - I am onto my cousins who live in Abu Dhabi and to ask them to tune into all the channels (sports or otherwise, Arabic or English) over there to squeeze the truth out of this one. I'll be back with an honest answer

Agree9 Disagree0

As if wayne rooney would come back, omg get a reality check

Agree7 Disagree3

Never going to happen u all make me laugh. blue bill will be here forever!! god help us all

Agree4 Disagree3

Theres more chance of Tony Hibbert and Tim Howard scoring in the next match than this being true
Toffeeboy {Ed025's Note - tony and our leading striker you mean ;0)

Agree6 Disagree0

If BK doesnt sell soon the creditors will force him to sell, the longer he delays the less BK will make.
KHC are the only serious interested buyer.

Agree7 Disagree0

Somebody mentions this prince bloke and next minute there's several rumours. just seems a bit suspect to me, but i live in hope.

Agree4 Disagree0

Ed...can you check peoples ip addresses on here as for all we know this poster could be a guy in a council flat from Manchester.

Toffeemike {Ed025's Note - i only get a number mike..its not google earth..

Agree3 Disagree1

Belfast toffee my gran says she will buy rooney lol

Agree1 Disagree0

If everton were to find a buyer and we had funds to start to build a squad and challenge for silverware there would be no reason why Rooney wouldn't come back. After all that is why he left, to win silverware( that and his quarter of a million a week pay cheque!)

Agree4 Disagree1

I dread to think what this site will be like when Everton do find a buyer... meltdown comes to mind.

Agree4 Disagree1

According to various sites on the internet Prince Alwaleed was in talks with us back in 2006 trying to buy a controlling stake from Earl, and also linked with a £100m bid for the club in June last year - whether he follows it up is anyone's guess. Here's hoping. He is top of the Saudi rich list, worth $16.3billion apparently.

Agree2 Disagree3

heard some gossip on Matthew jarvis we were intrested last year but was too late

toffee haz

Believable6 Unbelievable0

I think jarvis would be a great signing, but unless moyes hits the jackpot at the local british legion then we aint got a chance

Agree6 Disagree1

Nobody has mentioned the Prince is the second largest shareholder in News International after Rupert Murdoch.
The RS will love that!

Believable0 Unbelievable5

Like ive been saying. He has got fingers in many pies. Many wealthy pies. Those who doubt his credentials do so at their own peril. He is the man to transform us.

Agree9 Disagree0

Why do you think bill was looking so smug today. He cant say anything yet or risks losing our billionaire prince.

Agree5 Disagree8

Where did you hear that

Agree4 Disagree0

I've been doing my research. Deals take time, hence the rumours started at the end of last year. Just watch this space. Just a little more patience. Just remember bill's smug face.

Agree3 Disagree2

The prince is currently back home and is hosting represenatives from singapore who are looking to him to invest. He is a money making machine but rumours have it in saudi that he is seriously ib the pot for everton.

Agree2 Disagree5

If these deals take time and they are serious rumours about bidding for us. How come the Arabs who took Man City did it so quickly. Gizmo

Agree5 Disagree1

Strange his last big meeting was with Ambani another who has been linked with us.
I hear they discussed; The Prince buying a chunk of Tata Steel and how does Neville keep his place!

Agree5 Disagree0

Also heard the yanks are not happy with their investment and want out of klanfield!

Agree1 Disagree5

Please please be true, I'd love to see the look on Kenny Dogleash's face if they pulled the plug!

Just heard some interesting news on the transfer front we will anounce the signing of Quaresma on loan for the rest of the season Tuesday at the latest.

Believable6 Unbelievable8

The portugeuse player?. 1 goal every 6 games. just what we need right now.

Agree4 Disagree0

I wish!!!!

Agree4 Disagree2

We cant sign anyone else on loan we already have four players, drenthe, straq, donovan anderic dier premier league rules say only allowed 4 loan players in squad.....pc

Agree2 Disagree0

A player of his calibre wont come here

Agree5 Disagree1

Isn't Dier excluded from the first team squad? Part of the deal with sporting lisbon

Agree3 Disagree0

Where you heard this?
Toffeeboy

Agree3 Disagree0

I really dont know the rules about this loaning system, but surely Dier wouldnt count as he isnt really a SENIOR player. Also, if we hold the registration rights of Drenthe, then he would not count as a loanee. So potentially we coud have 2 slots open

Agree2 Disagree1

08 Jan 2012 16:33:22
lewis dunk..strongly linked with the blues........the new big dunk...g

Believable8 Unbelievable7

Who is Lewis Dunk? {Ed025's Note - he is a brighton defender...but we need a striker and midfielder!

Agree6 Disagree2

Lewis Dunk is a good young centre half plays for Brighton ball playing type of player made his debut for England u21s few months back

Agree1 Disagree1

Typical moyes we need a striker and a creative centre mid, and what does he want a bloody defender i despair!

Agree1 Disagree0

08 Jan 2012 16:43:22
Rumours yesturday at the game that it was Bilyaletdinov's last game in a blue shirt.
If there is a sale of Bily we will use most of what we get to bring in reinforcements on the cheap

Believable18 Unbelievable2

08 Jan 2012 16:37:25
Rumour on twitter that were after Matty Upson from Stoke !!
It's a striker we need more Davie, Jags only out for 6 weeks, im sure Heitinga, Distin and Duffy is enough for 6 weeks.
We have needed a striker for 2 years and creative mid or winger all season.
GIVE YA HEAD A WOBBLE MR MOYES !

Believable14 Unbelievable1

08 Jan 2012 16:10:19
We're getting either pienaar or kranjkar on loan but only after the game in mid week

Believable5 Unbelievable12

Bulls##t

Agree11 Disagree1

We have already done 4 loans- Donovan-Drenthe-Strac and Dier

Agree7 Disagree3

Dont talk rubbish

Agree5 Disagree2

If we sign drenthe, does that remove one of our loans or is he still classed as a loan player til summer? Anyone know? {Ed007's Note - If he signed he wouldn't be a loan.}

Agree6 Disagree0

Unless he just sings a pre-contract agreement.

Agree1 Disagree0

Drenthe isn't on loan we are covering the last year of his contract it's a loophole apparently he is officially now an everyon player until the summer

Agree0 Disagree0

Dier is not classed as a loan as he hasnt been registered for the prem squad .

JM

Agree1 Disagree0

I hear it excludes loans from abroad, the 4 must be in this country. is that true Ed? {Ed001's Note - this is the section: 6. Subject to the conditions set out below, a Temporary Transfer shall be permitted:
6.1 between Clubs; and
6.2 between a Club and a club in membership of the Football League, the Football Conference, the Northern Premier League, the Isthmian League and the Southern League.
So it actually doesn't describe the ruling in relation to players from other FA's. I am not actually sure now how that would work. I never noticed the temporary transfer rules only referred to other English sides. I will have to check UEFA's rulings and see what they have to say.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Us fans aren't asking for much. We don't want to know names of playes we're interested in. But it would be nice to know one way or the other that we have a) funds available and b) we're in the hunt for a striker.

Energie blue

Believable7 Unbelievable2

Hum, we already know that. We have funds available but not much, and we're in the hunt for a striker...

Agree1 Disagree1

I agree, im sick of the club saying we will have money to spend then moyes coming out saying we havent so loans it is. Who do we believe? End of last season- Moyes-a striker is my priority and im going to do my deals early?? no striker bought and 2 sold. Was this just to sell season tickets? I dont know anymore

Agree5 Disagree2

Totally agree. I just don't believe all this hyperbole re the Prince chipping in with funds. One day perhaps but why just now exactly? In the meantime, do our beloved EFC have 2 pennies to rub together to support Mr Moyes in his anxiety?

Agree3 Disagree1

As stated in a few other posts. Fan power must draw the prince to goodison. You create enough hype and massage the ego of our prince and get enough attention drawn to him he will become evertons new owner. His chance to own the club he supports. Wot a challenge to show how he can make the club the best. Im not like others who believe that u dont make money in football. He has the ability and business links to take everton into a new dimension. Companies would invest millions due to the media coverage they would get. Some see it as a gamble, personally i dont. Is buying a plane for £450 million the signs of a person who worries. He just likes the best and from what ive read, anything he invests in turns into the best. He has the midas touch. Come on prince you know u want to. Sign on the dotted line. Love your beloved evertonians

Agree7 Disagree1

Do we have funds available though? We thought we had when we sold pienaar and Vaughan. Then Beckford and Yakubu went, followed by Arteta. We haven't paid Yobo's wages for 2 seasons now and still none of that money has been invested. It just appears after so many outgoings and no incomings, it'll be the same story this window. I hope I'm wrong but other than loans I can't see much else, and it would appear that avenue is a no go seeing as we already have 4. Joke!

Agree1 Disagree0

08 Jan 2012 12:22:52
bill knewright has just turned up to goodinson in his car with his private reg just seen someone add a photo on facebook so looks like something is happening not getting to exited.

toffee haz

Believable2 Unbelievable9

That was yesterday when the fans where asking him questions, no?

JM

Agree1 Disagree0

Desperstely want these rumours to be true like every evertonian out there. even if none of these rumours are true something has to give sooner rather than later bk has sold bellefield, finch farm, next years sky money our two most creative players to me its just unbelieveable what this man is doin to stay in control, need more serious action to get this baffoon out or its a very grim future for all us blues!!

Agree15 Disagree1

If it is the one from the people's group that way yesterday.

Agree2 Disagree2

I hope these morons that slag Bill off are humble to apologise when he delivers worthy owners of our club...because for every man city type owners there are hundreds off Blackburn,Pompey etc

Agree13 Disagree8

If he spoke to the people instead of only talking to the press when we have a big win, then perhaps he could put a stop to all the rumours and the criticism. GIZMO

Agree5 Disagree6

I hope you people on this site are willing to appologise to those supports when billy liar fails us all again.... the man needs to go and take all those who support him.

Agree7 Disagree7

Youre hopeful dont trust kens**te at all

Agree8 Disagree0

These people saying if bill spoke to press etc,our bill has spoke to the blue union etc only for these dickheads to use underhand tactics, bill can't tell the fans everything because he is a gent and clients want privacy, bill has to get the correct owners for our club because unlike most owners if not all of them bill will still be sat in stand after selling up supporting his beloved blues,so yes he has turned others away because they weren't correct for club,I suppose the dickhead blue union would have us sold to anyone as along as bill was out the door, beware of what you wish for morons look at Blackburn,Pompey and others

Agree10 Disagree3

Anti Kenwright only anti for lack of anyone else to vent spleen at... At least Everton still have character, which can't be said of many other Premiership teams. Very few on here seem capable of taking a measured view of things... They want any fat person - whatever their background / interest in the club - to give us bundles of cash. Apparently, we will then be world champions for the next hundred years and, more importantly, headline Match of the Day, dominate Sky publicity material and build a stronger brand in Asia. People on here constantly demanding demanding demanding, like our spoilt brat neighbours across the park. All I see when I watch City, United or Liverpool fans, is a load of tourists texting their friends or taking pictures of corner kicks. If it wasn't Premiership football, they'd be at a U2 concert, texting / taking pictures.

Heard rumours of both Nicky Maynard and Billy Sharp to Everton...

Believable3 Unbelievable9

On sky Billy Sharp agreed terms with Leicester!

Agree6 Disagree0

Sharp is on route to Leicester and Maynard won't cut the cream at the top

Agree6 Disagree1

Heard rumours of Bill Maynard and Graham Sharp,ha ha

George,

Agree1 Disagree3

Maynard will 'cut the cream.'
He is better than Beckford was and he had a fair good go. He is not championship level, like Grant Holt, he would be able to make the step up

JM

Agree2 Disagree2

Maynard will struggle at everton because strikers don't have the opportunity at Goodson. We play a 4-5-1 and it leaves strikers isolated!

Agree3 Disagree0

08 Jan 2012 10:32:37
Hi,have never wrote on this site as most of time it is all bs, but read it cos it makes me laugh:).
I have a very close friend who works in sauda, he txte this morning to say that the takeover is imminent and bin talal has made it his ambition to roll over the Abu dhabi group and
And promote everton with the backing of his new media involvement.
Trying to find out where info has come from so will report later!! God I hope this is true!!

Believable6 Unbelievable10

NO one is buying us no one wants us the sooner will understand this the sooner we can deal with the reality of our situation

Agree10 Disagree4

Always a close friend... Always a text... Always that hint of Allerton Road arriviste wine bar bull...

Agree7 Disagree2

Yes your right about bs ...do I smell a koppite.. tp

Agree8 Disagree2

Always difficult to distinguish between fact and fiction on the issue of a takeover by Prince Talal.

Fact - he is the 26th richest man in the World.

Fact - he took out a $300 million stake in Twitter last month.

Rumour- he may take over Everton.

Agree8 Disagree3

Hope this takeover talk is for real cause we damn well need it!

Agree6 Disagree0

Please god be true

Agree8 Disagree0

People should really stop repeatibly saying that we are not going to be bought because none of us knows, it's really annoying me

Agree3 Disagree0

Hes a evertonian so theres a start

Agree4 Disagree0

The thing is, to take over Everton, it is going to be a stupidly rich person, and at nearly 20bil worth, Bin talal certainly fits the bill, we need an owner that is willing to plough millions, and well, he has just bought a plane for 450mil!!

To me, this rumour is probably more viable than any other I have heard, not to mention he is an Everton fan, not believing for one sec there is any truth in this (because why wouldnt he of done this sooner?) but just saying.
